Anyone know why Orgeron reacted so strongly to the Pete Carroll/Jerry Sullivan question?

I don't know the relationship between Orgeron and the sportswriter, and that may be the issue, but the question sounded innocent enough and Orgeron's response was defensive.

I get it that Sullivan did not go to the Seahawks "to learn about offensive and teaching WR's," but for Orgeron to get on his high horse and his tone and stare was not a good look for him. Is he that defensive about his coaching hires? Is that it? Or is he feeling heat before the season even starts?

I will say that I believe that Orgeron sold a "bill of goods," but he need not start grousing if people are on to his con........legions are on to him. Does that make him mad?

O is hearing "footsteps," and I wonder what Alleva is hearing!!!

He is the same looney toon that everyone saw at Ole Miss

He shouldn't be near a Power 5 college football program, let alone LSU

I hope his skin grows a little thicker by the time he steps foot in TJ Ribs this fall

In all likelihood he will really lose it this year at the mic. He just doesn't appear to handle the pressure well.

I’m sure O realizes he’s in over his head. He’s probably starting to feel the same way he did when he was at Ole Miss. Some guys just aren’t cut out to be head coaches, and unfortunately, LSU has one of those guys. I’d imagine as the losses start coming, TAF will look to move Alleva out. No way will TAF allow Alleva to hire the next coach. They will let the new AD, whom ever that will be, make the next hire.

Unfortunately, that's what's needed for us to move on.

He’s probably sick of shithead reporters asking questions that have nothing to do with the events of the day and are looking to only make a joke about the age of one of his coaches. We are 3 weeks into spring practice and this dipshit decides to ask about something that happened months ago. I get that you most of the people here hate O and everything that he is and everything he does with the program but none of you have seen anything other than a few short videos from reporters given a 10-15 minute window to watch the start of practice. I hate that our fanbase on this website wants the team to fail so spectacularly just so they get what they want, for the HC to be fired. It is truly pathetic.

If what we've seen so far is any indication, it will get really embarrassing after a few losses especially if those are before Nov and the heat turns up on him.

The reporter was trying to say O said something he did not and O was making it perfectly clear what he had said. Some here just plain hate on folks and will jump at any opportunity to display it.

Yeah. It was the fan base that botched the OC hire, it was the fanbase that lost to a 10 pt underdog at home costing us the sugar bowl, it was the fan base that lost to state by the largest margin in the history of that series, it was the fan base that lost to a sunbelt school, it was the fan base that decided not to go for it on 4th and 1 in the bowl game, it was the fan base who landed the the lowest ranked recruiting class in 15 years.

They are also trying to turn a quality they they love about all their hero’s(intensity, passion, business like approach to a “process”) into a negative on their own coach. It was a stupid fricking question and I’d have felt more disappointment if O handled it another way.

Proving my point. You want FAILURE so you can be proven right when you get into arguments with people you know or on here about a coach. Just admit it. You want LSU to fail. It’s ok. You can say it.

None of us want LSU to fail. But many of us knew the day O was hired it was inevitable. And the only reason Alleva was embolded to make such a foolish hire is all you “one of us/he’s learned from his mistakes” clowns. You guys deserve the blame for this.

Orgeron knows he's not qualified for this job. This is why he gets defensive like this anytime someone questions his hires.

I hope O is successful for many reasons, but one is so all you lil bitches will go away or maybe fade away. You punks remind me of all the snowflakes protesting everything that don't go your way.

So now stating facts is wanting them to fail? Please tell me how, in your mind, I said I wanted LSU to fail.
