I talked to him last week. Saw him out at a club. Amazing athlete and even better human being.

Remember watching him on the mound from behind home plate in game 3 vs Tx in Omaha...what a beast.

I believe he is an assistant H.S. coach somewhere as he was recently interviewed a few months ago. Damn proud that he was a Tiger!

Yes Moo St at the one and Chad charged the line and jumped 50 inches vertical (it seemed) to block a pass to wide open receiver in the end zone. Have never been able to find a picture of that instant. Can anyone post it?

I was 10 rows up in the student section for that game. The hit sounded like a vehicle collision!

I feel like I heard something about him coaching at DLS in Nola or something but not entirely sure.

I was field level in that endzone, we thought Jones was about to be arrested for murder.

This is my favorite Chad Jones moment. Look how much higher he jumped than the other guys. What an incredible athlete.

You forget how fit and in shape he was before baseball made him fat.

I was sitting by the bullpen for the first game he came in for relief. I remember thinking when he came to warm up "WTF is he doing walking this way!?!?"

almost every time a player gets ejected for targeting, I think "Chad Jones borderline killed a guy and you tossed that dude for THAT?"

you could swap Laron Landry into the previous sentence as well.

Chad Jones could have made it as a pro in baseball or football.

I was at the first game he pitched. I'll never forget that...we were all looking at each other confused as hell

Then after we saw him throw that first slider:

That kick return seemed like it lasted for a half an hour, but damn it was purdy!
