I'm pretty sure he's the best leaper I've ever seen in an LSU uniform, including Dupree, who was a freak.

Kid levitates. Its almost surreal to watch, like its fake.

He's also a great defender and rebounder. If he continues to hone his shot and develop some handles, he's going to be a contributor on an NBA team. You can't teach that physical ability, its insane.

Sidenote: He'd be one HELL of a WR.

+1 Dupree carried his unreal athleticism into a decent NBA career. Was never a great bball player but was so damn athletic.

Thanks guys! the only leapers I can remember that were similar were Vernel Singleton, and Ronnie Henderson.

Not only was the dunk amazing. That assist was one handed off the dribble.

Tyrus was not this good of a leaper. He was a very good leaper, but he also was tall and had an insane wingspan on top of that. Also timed his jumps really well. He had a 7'3" wingspan and a 39.5" vertical.

I don't think you realize that Marlon Taylor might legitimately have a 48-50" vertical.

Yeah, Taylor definitely has some of the best hops I've ever seen in an LSU uniform. Of course, there are many other names to mention.

While Waters doesn't dunk often, there have been a few times during his short LSU career that I'm amazed how well he can dunk also. One of those times was earlier this year off two feet on a break when he dunked easily with two hands.

But is it Glover Jackson-type hops?

Both of those guys could get up. Same with Dupree. Antonio Blakeney seemed to almost levitate on his jump shot.
