It will matter if he transfers to another SEC school, start and then beat us

The same things that people who said Howard was the future was basing it off of. Hope.

Odds are not in his favor of this happening.

My analysis of his film, interviews, leadership skills and other intangibles.

Agree he was 3 on the depth chart for a reason. Good luck moving on but don’t think lsu will miss him

I'm not overly concerned either, but we only saw him play in garbage time. The first time or two a QB plays in garbage time means next to nothing. He didn't play any meaningful snaps and didn't stand out during the few snaps he did get. But I don't think that really means anything.

Got better things to worry about than LSU’s third string quarterback leaving.

I agree. But god damn there sure are a lot of threads about it.

Even the OP says he doesn't care, but he cared enough to start the 11,000th thread about it.

just don’t like inconsistency. Some guys are “chestless quitters who didn’t want to compete” and some guys like Beck and Walker are “good kids who just didn’t get the right opportunity”. It’s strange and really can’t put my finger in what the difference is.

Lmao. Yea. You totally didn’t see the coward post. Or the he’s a bitch pussy post. Keep holding that crutch

You think Kelly is just handing the job to Nuss in 2024? I highly doubt that. There's almost certainly going to be an open competition between Nuss, Collins and whoever else is on the roster.

You think Howard is going to be ready to start in the SEC THIS year??? Come on, man. That's absurd.

I was surprised but not upset. If we hadn’t nabbed Hurley I might have been, but he was a great snag.

This staff is opportunistic & they want the best players & competitors they can find, period. Figure out the rest later & anyone’s feelings be damned.

They’re saying come earn it if you think you can & leave if you think you can’t. I love it.

Probably the best decision for Howard honestly, QB room was getting thick.

It just shows ineptness by the coaching staff to retain its 5 star players

UGA just won back to back titles and they still have 5* players transfer out. This isn't a unique thing to LSU and our coaching staff, it's the reality of modern day CFB. I don't like it and I'm sure a lot of other fans don't but that's just how it is.

Walker won't be the last 5* to transfer out of here and we'll also get some blue chip transfers coming in as well. My suggestion is stop getting so attached to recruits out of HS, I've all but stopped following it. Now I just ride with LSU and whatever players we have on the roster in a given year when the season starts and root for them to do well and win games.
