Yes, given all that's going on in the world, this worries me the most.

No. Because he’s not playing right field. But even if he were, I wouldn’t be so nervous about it that I would think a new thread would be warranted when there is already one discussing it on the front page.

No. I heard he was as thin as Duplantis and could run like Leon Landry.

If Pail puts him there then I’m fine with it.

Are you concerned he doesn’t have any wheels? What exactly are you implying here?

No. We beg for power hitters all the time. They have to play somewhere. Beloso is athletic enough.

Y’all gotta make up your mind though. You want some heavy hitting big boys in the lineup or do you want smaller speed, small ball guys?

Shortstop seems like his natural position

You don’t have to be super fast to play corner outfield. It helps but being able to read the ball off the bat and have a quick first step can make up for speed. Plus with someone like Gio in center you really aren’t being asked to cover a whole lot of ground.

Left Field? Not at all. We will not have great outfielder speed out there, and that means a half dozen balls will drop that would have been caught by a real outfielder, but I'm confident Beloso will play the position well aside from that. He's a very athletic kid.

And what you get out of the deal is Beloso's bat instead of our third best outfielder's bat. CPM is gambling that that will yield a lot more offense than the six or a dozen balls that are just out of reach. If Beloso hits 10 HRs, that's probably five more than we would have gotten. And that's not mentioning all the doubles and singles.

I’m a little rusty on my knowledge but wasn’t beloso considered an above average defender at 1st? Dugas is one of the best athletes on the team, it would be strange to not play him in the field, but have both Beloso and morgan out there.

Had a Jordan brother playing LF on a pretty good team. If he starts costing you runs out there then I'm sure they'll adjust.
