Anyone able to highlight the changes in strength/conditioning under the new staff?

Just curious - we didn’t seem particularly strong ever or in great shape in the 4Q under the previous staff.

New staff is implementing shite loads of deer antler spray into the fitness plans

How would anyone know unless they are in the building? I am just going to trust that Savage brings a hard edge back to the program.

Lots of people here digest Lsu content in different ways. The are articles or social media posts I can easily miss that may go into their work or changes. Some here may be friends with players who have talked about it.
These aren’t state secrets

All I know is we can’t lose to Tommy Moffitt three years in a row. That’s a conversation nobody who let him walk wants to have.

Did they buy the Moffett method books

Nowhere to go but up.
Regardless of the new training program, I expect that having an offense that can stay on the field for more than 3 downs will help the D be less worn out in the second half.

Doe estrus would be better. It'll keep everyone away.

They are lifting really heavy things and running a lot.

There were fans who thought Moffetts day was up,do you feel that way now after the way A@m manhandled us in the 2nd half last year. The best thing the strength staff did at LSU with Nick and Moffett was, implement the 4th quarter program. The problem was the head coach has to fully support the s@c coaches and their approach.Under Les after a few seasons he got away from Tommies system and hence the 8-9 win seasons.Lets hope Savage has a system to make these players tough as nails.

Has to be better than the charmin soft, no tackling, no strength get pushed around crew that just departed both as S&C and HC!

Not at all. It’s S&C. The excuse people use here is that he got “passed up by the times”. The dude has been a part of 3 National Championship teams under 3 different head coaches. That alone tells you he’s one of the best to ever do it. His athletes were fast and strong, and still are.
