I agree with everything said on here. I don’t think it is going to matter though, LSU will be the National Champions. There is a different between an inexperienced QB vs an experience QB and Championship Coach vs a new rookie Head Coach. I knew we were in trouble after the terrible halftime interview with Day.

We did shoot ourselves in the foot and didn’t capitalize when we had the chance. Again, congrats to Clemson and best of luck to both teams in the NC game. I still feel Joe and Tigers will get it done.

The first deep ball completion he was clearly out of bounds before his elbow touched. Not sure what the refs were looking at but they blew that call.
lol, that was an SEC crew also.

You know it is an SEC crew when both teams feel that the refs were biased for the other. Then you know for sure.

Coaching was bad too. Basically abandoning the run(Dobbins is a monster ) and not going for 2 pts towards the end of the game. I know Dobbins had a minor injury but damn, he was running at will against that defense.

that “incomplete pass” was 100% a fumble. Dude took like 4 steps

Not so sure - their arms were all in a knot and the ball was on the interior of that bag of snake arms. He was NEVER in position to make a 'football move" with the ball in his possession. = he was struggling for possession the whole time.

doesn't matter if he went 20 yards while battling the defense for complete possession. Defense finally dislodged the ball during the struggle and ball hits the ground = INCOMPLETE PASS..

They shot themselves in both feet multiple times. They clearly were the better team, but managed to lose the game. Couldn't have happened to a better bunch, or a whinier HC.

Sort of blemishes that "complete team" narrative too.

Lawrence did not look all that great passing last night. I do not see how LSU can lose. They are dialed in perfectly.

Not sure what you were seeing here. He caught the ball. He took several steps. The ball didn’t move during this time. He didn’t tuck it, but there is no rule that he has to. Then the defender dislodged the ball. Whether he made a “football move” who knows, because it’s not really well defined. Is two or three steps a football move? But he had possession for several steps. The rule needs to be refined.

I have no dog in the fight. Not a fan of either team. And I think we may match up better with Clemson.

OSU should have won.

Day is going to have a short career there. His focus at the half was the officiating, not his teams performance. He's a petulant child

OSU started to play tight when they had the lead and instead of pedal to the metal started playing not to lose.

Putting up three field goals to go up by 16-0 instead of possibly 28, was the problem along with some stupid penalties and close calls. Not playing not to lose.

You should have learned something new on that play like I did.

The hand down in bounds was all that was needed. Formerly I thought it needed to be an elbow, foot, knee or buttocks.

That’s a good analogy...

16-0 and Day gets Dumb ...

But before that happened, Those 3 FGs phucked OSU ... Poor OSU playcalling in that red zone cost OSU that game as well as letting up and playing “Myles Ball” with a lead

Lmao ...

They’re blemished all right!

But it won’t make a damn bit of difference for next year as they are NOW ESTABLISHED as an ELITE TOP 5 team ...

We’ll argue about Preseason #1 next year but the truth is that a boat-raced Clemson falls back to the third spot with OSU # 2 ... Mark it

While I agree that’s the way it is called these days, I don’t agree it should be that.

That should be a catch and fumble.

No it wasn't. Either it was an incomplete pass because he was never able to turn and make a football move or his forward progress was stopped way before the ball falling to the ground.

Fields did not have the kind of game I expected, but still, they clearly were better than Clemson. Buckeyes had the chance to put this game away in the 1st half but didn't go for the jugular and let Clemson hang around too long...
