IF the game was in the 30’s to 0, I was considering leaving at halftime. I was in the sun in 305 and it was fricking brutal.

I live in Dallas and if I did manage to get over there to see a game, I wouldn't leave if my life depended on it. Sometimes I feel like people who get to go to games all the time take it for granted.

Well yeah, that’s pretty obvious. If I drove in from Dallas to see the game I’m not leaving early

Took everything I had not to leave at half. We were in the NEZ and baking next to one of the purple tunnels.

After half we found shaded seats in the SS and we were fine after that. Thank God we stayed

Never gave a thought to leaving. It's why we play the games. Yesterday was magical.

Yes and I rarely ever leave a game early. Been having season tickets in 412 since 1996 and have probably only left a game early 3 or 4 times. But at 20-0 I had told myself I was stay for the halftime celebration and then would see how the first couple of series into the 3rd went. Sitting and staring into blazing sun and heat definitely contributed to it.

I know, but the point is it's aggravating. I hear about people leaving and giving tickets away for free. And people considering leaving at half time? This was a close game at the half. It's just frustrating. I guess I'm just going to have to retire in Baton Rouge.

Nope. I drove 9 hours to BR for the game, and I was resolved to not leave early. I'll admit being in the west upper helped a lot, though.

anyone who left because of the 20-0 is a fricking pussy arse LSU fan.
There are many PAF's in the stadium now that could really care less LSU football. No need to open up that can of worms now. Most of us know what has happened to cause fan disenchantment.

I've never left an LSU game before 00:00 since my parents dragged me out of the SEZ against Bama in the 4th quarter when I was a kid way back in the mid 60's.

70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's. Nope. Never leave early. Regardless of score or conditions, if I'm there at the beginning, I'm there for the duration.

Not concerned with post-game traffic. I/We (When Mrs. Semjase accompanies me) sit in the car and listen to post-game or start up a "mini" tailgate until all the traffic has cleared out.

Nothing can be done to convince the Corporate Newbs to stay either. They all have better and more important things to do with their precious and valuable time. .............

Louisiana legislature should outlaw day games in Tiger Stadium.

Well, after our first td, and then saw Auburn going down the field again, I decided to go to the local game. Had a close relative involved in the homecoming festivities so, I was kinda forced to go, but I had a choice to stay till at least LSU's half and then come straight back about the start of the fourth quarter (LSU's). Got to the local game and didn't hear anything until LSU was about to go ahead (assumed they were getting slaughtered)........will kick myself for a couple of years for that.

I kinda had a feeling the heat had something to do with it. I went to the Auburn game in 2013 and there were people passing out and the concession stand was out of water late in the game. Doesn't fair well for people who are already dehydrated from drinking.

Auburn 2013 was the "stiff dew" game... but I was on the east side for Auburn 2015. That game was brutal.

I didn't know you were there too poncho, it would've been great to see you. I was near the top of 616. Hoping to make a series at the Box this spring as well.
