I always care about the bowl game. It gives valuable practice time to the players and in this instance, gives Kiffin a chance to evaluate personnel and whether players fit the system he wants implemented.

Of course, I care anytime LSU plays. Honestly I do not expect us to win and I don't know anything about Houston. I think most fans are hoping to win and looking toward seeing how Lane builds the program.

On offense he will keep one of the RB, Kyle Parker, Destyn Hill, TreyDez Green, Braelyn Moore and Solomon Thomas. Plus a few more o-line men maybe.

No, all these non-playoff games are a joke.

Also, if you notice the stadiums are mostly empty. I think in 10 years bowl games will be a thing of the past.

would be surprised to see him stick around, especially if Atkins doesn't stick (which we dont know yet)

I could care less about it. Seriously doubt I'll even watch it. Thinking about driving over to P'cola Sat morning to visit some old friends

The Texas Bowl in Houston Texas is the LAST GAME being coached by "Used Car Salesmen" Frank Wilson, BRAD DAVIS, Cortez Hankton and Alex Atkins.

Of course I care….it is the last time to see the Tigers play for nearly 8 months and the last time you will ever see a lot of the players ever play. It they care enough to play, then I care enough to watch.

I think you do too…

The new trend of younger people not caring about bowl games, constantly saying they're "meaningless" and looking to others to validate an opinion they heard from someone else is really getting old.

The bowls weren't watered down when more were added. It should have NO impact on bowl games like the Citrus, Peach, Independence, Cotton, Holiday, Sun, Liberty, etc. when they added the Frisco or Arizona bowl.

The perception of the bowl games importance became diminished when the playoffs started and then opt outs started (thanks Fournette) and then when the portal flood gates opened, they became less "important" for many of the players on the roster.

That being said, there are at least two generations of fans (the largest two donating generations to every fans booster foundations) that still remember the pageantry, respect and historical honor many bowl games deserve and the constant effort for younger generations to try to convince other people that isn't real is tired.

No, I don't care about the Cheez-It or the Cure Bowl but no 20-30 something year old (fan, player, coach, podcaster content creator) can / will convince me that earning and playing in historical bowls is meaningless.

Down vote and kick rocks

I bleed purple and gold. I changed travel plans to accommodate the game. The excitement is not there compared to a big game, but I support my team 365 days a year.
