Any word on Greg Brooks?

Anyone know how he’s recovering and progressing?
Was watching old highlights and remembered how tough a player he was.
Hope there’s a day he can suit up again, but I’m praying he can simply have a clean bill of health!

I would also like to know this. Last I heard was an update from BK in March. Such a shitty roll of the dice for him but at least he’s still alive.
Can’t imagine it’d be too easy to come back from something like that to play at LSU but if he pulled it off somehow the roar would be insane.

If he is able to live a normal life, it will be a blessing. To heck with football.

If he can dress himself and live semi independently till he is 35 that’s a miracle. Greg and his family need prayers. Same diagnosis and failed surgery with a relative. It’s horrible to witness up close. Pray for Greg and his immediate family. They need it .

Sad. Your relative had the same thing? Sorry to hear that. I know what it’s called but the prognosis and quality of life stuff is very vague. I keep reading different stuff, 5 year survival rate, and long term survival depends on whether it was “WNT activated” or something, don’t know what that means. I wish they could give us more info but I can understand if the family wants privacy.
That Koy Moore strip he had in 2022 was awesome.

Couldn't ask for a better young man to represent LSU. I hate what's happened to him and hope he can have some quality of life.

I was a big fan of Greg Brooks as a player when he played for Arkansas… he was a big time player who you noticed all over the field on defense… I was happy to see him transfer to LSU and was hoping for a great future for him.. sending prayers to the young man Greg Brooks…
