What surgery is done for this situation that includes family member?

I’d buy a # 3 for Brooks
I wonder if LSU could set up a fundraiser by selling #3 Brooks jerseys and giving profits to his family.
I don’t normally wear jerseys but that is one I’d buy.

Is he on road to recovery or still fighting cancer? Hasn’t he been fighting this for last year or so? Freak cancer. Praying that with Gods grace and love he will get through this.

I have no direct information but my sense from context clues is that the surgery was successful but he was left with significant neurological issues.

Damn. Prayers. So sad.
How is he communicating? Or is he? Writing on a pad?

Greg was my son’s biddy basketball teammate - great family.
The news above leaves us cautiously optimistic for recovery, but he’s apparently got a long long way to go.
