What a smarmy response. Again, if Nuss is really so much inferior to JD5 why keep him? JD5 is one of the worst qBs at LSU in a while. What is the problem with giving Nuss a look as there is still the potential to develop him. Daniels has not improved as a QB in 3+ years.

How do you know if you won't stat your point? JD is useless as a QB. Why continue that which is useless? Maybe Nuss will be as well but we do not know.

Yeah I think we just have a fundamental disagreement here. From what I've already seen I don't think he's going to be a good starter in the SEC. So I don't have that same curiosity that you do.
That's not an endorsement of JD. Neither of those QBs will be good SEC QBs in my opinion, so if they start Nuss, fine. It's six in one hand, half a dozen in the other IMO.

I think it has to be done given the useless play of JD5. Glad you could make such an assessment with so little information. I think it was a mistake to bring Daniels here.

It’s not gonna happen because Kelly doesn’t want but the fact that he refuses and, to put it mildly exaggerates to justify it, is a problem.

While that may be true. What is the purpose of JD in the game down 4 TD with 3 min to play. Chance to get hurt all the more reason to play Nuss the backup.

Maybe he could even improve by playing in meaningful snaps? Maybe he'll get an opportunity because Daniels has had 40 starts to develop experience and improve, which is quite the advantage over Nussmeier.
