Yeah, there sure were no shanked punts or kickoffs out of bounds. Oh, wait...

Any reason in particular that Miles is getting ALL of the heat for this?
yes.

quote: This team is too talented to play like they did Saturday. It's all in Les I mean, the defense held Wisconsin to under 350 total yards and forced 3 TOs. Fournette accounted for about 180 yards on his own. No egregious special teams errors that we witnessed much of last year. We were 1 of 8 on 3rd down when Harris had the ball in his hands. In this game, you play the hand you're dealt, and when you pick your own deck, it really falls back on the head coach, I just wonder what should have been done differently when the quarterback is playing THAT badly.
Did you watch the game? While Harris could have def played better, it was a combination of horrible offensive line play and horrible offensive scheme that greatly contributed to that stat. Besides, you can't separate poor QB play and coaching. Not anymore. That shite may fly a couple times, but this is the norm for miles teams.

Miles admitted today that the team was not prepared...inexcusable

I'm sure you can figure it out.

and now the les fan boys are driving the bus over the players, instead of looking at the root cause of why we were fricking down.

ARe u putting that loss, that fiasco of a loss on that one play? Just curious.

I actually haven't been on this site much as of late and haven't had much time to change my sig... or post or follow spring training for that matter. First Spring Game I've completely missed in the last 10 years.
Just thought I'd stop in to witness the first meltdown of the season. Was not disappointed as I hear that someone has started a Miles buyout on GoFundMe less than a month removed from the flooding, but hey, priorities.

I concede this will likely be Miles' last season and that it should be his last season, but what I saw from Harris was inexcusable from a junior quarterback. Again, pee wee quarterbacks know what to do with the ball in that situation. And that's a symptom of a problem much bigger than COACHING.

None of my business but Anthony Jennings playing for ULL was 21/33 for 186 yards, 1 TD, no ints, ran 16 for 18 yards. This was against a pretty strong Boise State team.
Just saying....
Just saying....

The point is, Harris should have never been in that situation to throw a pick at the end! We should have had the game won by that time...

Les covered this in the presser saying that Brandon Harris threw a TD on exact broken play in practice.

Penalty that put them from the 30 to the 35 and then letting a QB who had a aweful day throw the ball when you have 2 beast for running backs.

Easily the most intriguing thing about this shite is that basically all the pumpers save one are saying that this should be Miles last season yet without fail, they almost all are trying to pretend that what happened this weekend wasn't part of a larger recognizable pattern.
They're trying to thread the needle. They don't want to look like jack asses defending that shite Saturday, but they don't want to admit that they were wrong prior to Saturday.
Thus, they are effectively in the odd position of saying Miles should be fired over basically one game. Cause, remember, these problems weren't actually real LAST year or the year before. We were all fricking crazy. Only NOW are they real. AFTER ONE GAME!

I'll continue to pump this stat for each and everyone of these dumb threads
58, 4 and 5* for LSU.......8 for UW. It's all about coaching.

It was Les' terrible game plan that got Brandon in the position to do what he did. That was one play of a horribly coached football game. Stop trying to put this on a player, when the guy making $4.4-million can't effectively coach an offense.

If it's the QB, then where's the competition? If a running back fumbles, next man up. If a receiver gets the drops, next man up. If a DB gets burned and misses tackles, next man up. There is no next man up for the QB. Competition makes players get better. The Coach must make sure all players feel the anxiety of competition for playing time.
