Any reason in particular that Miles is getting ALL of the heat for this?

Consider the following:
1. You are down by 2 with 1:00 left in the game with one timeout remaining.
2. You are two yards outside of your kicker's range.
3. It is first down.
As a quarterback, when you take your eyes off your receivers to evade a free rusher, your ONLY thought in this scenario should be to get outside of the tackles and either get rid of the ball or pick up a few yards and get out of bounds without getting hit.
This is not coaching, this is quarterback IQ.

Think about it, if it were the assistants then don't you think that things would've gotten better/worse with the changes? The offense is IDENTICAL to the offense from 2008 and beyond. Les Miles is the only constant on the staff for that period of time.

Because he gets paid $5MM a year and is in charge of this. Are you serious?

This team is too talented to play like they did Saturday. It's all in Les

Maybe you should become head coach.

Cause he is in fricking charge. Give it a rest, he no longer deserves to be the head coach.

That IS COACHING YOU FREAKING TROLL! Blame the QB since 2008. GTFO of here.

Coaching is the reason we only had one time out. Coaching is the reason we couldn't score all game. Different QBs with the same result, what's the constant? Coaching

If you're not a troll, fans like you are a huge part of the problem.

Did you watch the other 58 minutes of the game?

It admittedly would've been easier to swallow had we won the game, but if you think this site wouldn't have the pitchforks and the national media wouldn't be making fun of how terrible our offense is your wrong. As aggravated as I was when it happened we deserved to lose. The offense looked dead the whole time no fire in them at all.

Well he hasn't changed the offense AT ALL in at least five years. Anyone with a tv knows what to expect.
He said he'd open up the offense at the end of last season and it's still the exact same offense we've had for years and years and years. He's surrounded by talent other teams dream of having yet we consistently looked lost on offense. That comes down to coaching.
He won't change. His stubbornness will, may have already, cost him his job.
He's in the fix he's in by his own doing.

So everything else up to that point Saturday was fine? The qb lost the game on that play?

LSU should never have been even close to a situation like that in this game.

1. He went back on his word to change the Offense unless having the OC on the sideline qualifies as such,
2. Wisconsin, truthfully, from a talent perspective had no business being on the same field,
3. How many times do LSU fans have to witness the same shat show.
Enough is enough from the man missing a chest

Well. I mean, obviously you're correct. Until Brandon Harris showed up, there was literally no sign that LSU was passing game challenged. None. I mean, no one even mentioned it. Ever.

I mean, the defense held Wisconsin to under 350 total yards and forced 3 TOs.
Fournette accounted for about 180 yards on his own.
No egregious special teams errors that we witnessed much of last year.
We were 1 of 8 on 3rd down when Harris had the ball in his hands.
In this game, you play the hand you're dealt, and when you pick your own deck, it really falls back on the head coach, I just wonder what should have been done differently when the quarterback is playing THAT badly.

Well, first off......that's coaching. That's what coaches get paid to do. Coach. Les miles is the HEAD COACH. Think of him as the boss of those other coaches. Even the coach that's paid to coach the QB. See the connection?
Now, there's no way we should have ever been losing by two in the fourth quarter. That's due to a shitty offensive scheme, lack of perpetration, lack of effort........all things that are a direct result of POOR COACHING! Les needs to shoulder the blame. Period.

We shouldn't have been on that position in the first place.
