Any news or rumors of him receiving an invitation to an NFL team's training camp given that the draft is now over and free agents are starting to sign their contracts? I sure hope that he gets a second chance, even if not for this year.

His ship has sailed.

I hope he saved his money.

ETA: his story is like the guy who says "I'm gonna get my GED & then my degree. I'm working on a plan."

His best chance will be after a couple months. When lots of players start getting cut.

I still think he'll get a shot with a team with a veteran that he can sit behind and continue to develop.

Multiple teams have said to let them know if he gets down around what his playing weight was and they will take a look at him. There is some interest in him at that weight.

If he really applies himself and keeps up the hard work he will get a shot. This is a league that is desperate for QBs.

I can't see JaMarcus without my purple & gold glasses.

So yeah, I'm thinking, let's go with a double shot of redemption...ARIZONA CARDINALS!!

He is down to 275. I hope he can shed a few more.

You are probably right, unless they wanted to keep 6 QBs on roster

Now that Eagles's got Barkley, Raider's got Flynn and Wilson, Bill's got Manuel, is there any team out there that is still looking for a backup QB and possibly will give JR a look? Jaguars? Buccaneers? or Vikings maybe?

You really need to look at some of the scrub qb's on rosters, and then think about the term "arm strength". If his head is right he CAN redeem himself. I know that's a BIG if, but it's cetainly not a foregone conclusion. At the NFL minimum, he could make it happen.

Carson Palmer is clearly not the answer for the Cardinals given his injury and inconsistency. I bet they will start looking for QBs by the middle of the next season, and that's when JR can step in!

how many of you could lose the extra weight if that was what was standing between you and a million dollar pay day?

It is hard to believe he wants it that bad if he does not take the weight off

Look at the chances that Jeff George got, simply because he had a rocket arm. Jamarcus will get one and only one more chance.
