We'll have a pretty good team but when you compare our SEC schedule to Bama's I don't see how we'll win the west.

Don't have a prayer in the world. The offense will be about the same and the D will be undergoing many changes. This years D wasnt all that special to begin with

this board always makes bama like a team full of Gods, noone can beat them. Being two time defending national champs everyone will be giving them there best shot, I suspect bama will get 1 or 2 losses next year and not make it to the championship.

Actually, I view it as just the opposite.

I remember, like many LSU fans, that we DID beat them in 2010 and 2011, and came very close in 2008 and 2009 as well with Miles' worst teams.

Like most fans that don't drink the Saban/Bama/SEC/ESPN kool aid, I'm aware that Bama has had many things fall in their favor, by design, to get them where they are:

1) Favorable conference scheduling thanks to a Bama alum
2) Favorable officiating thanks to a Bama alum
3) Second chances, thanks to favorable media coverage (2011)
4) A "second chance" in 2012 again thanks to factors 1 and 2 above

With all that in mind, I'm simply going with the "process" of how CFB works.

Factor in points 1 and 2 above again for 2013 and I don't see how Bama CAN'T win another one. They have successfully pushed the system in their favor through money and influence. More power to them.

For those of you who say stupid shite like "well, beat them and it takes care of itself", all you are doing is giving them a week off and making their schedule easier for the rematch.

LSU, along with several other top SEC contenders are screwed for years to come with this system. That's why I'm saving my money from here on out. The game is rigged. Be happy with a random BCS bowl appearance here and there, because under this system, this is what LSU, along with other top SEC contenders, will be lucky to get.

Well stop bitching about them having unrealistic expectations.

Funny thing is...those people with the severely low expectations will still be here bitching if we win 10+ and exceed their expectations.

We're a 3 loss team this year with this much talent and you think we'll go to the NC next year? Hell no.

Definitely possible. I love starting the season with a worthy opponent. It just means we start practicing hard earlier. Just like 2011
