He'll have to sit out a year, right?

He's supposed to graduate from LSU in June. He can play 1 year immediately as a graduate transfer.

Or he could play immediately at a lower division school (D2-D3). He won't lack for options, but I'm betting he will choose a school closer to home than LSU.

Georgia State needs a quarterback, for example....

I wish him well. I thought he was a class act thru some shitty times- none of which were his fault. But he stayed classy and answered the call every time he was asked. Well done AJ. Hope everything works out for you.

Look at what a year at Louisiana Tech did for Jeff Driskel.

Good example. The right school could make a huge difference for AJ

AJ, you had some memorable moments as a Tiger.

Appreciate you giving it your best shot in the bayou, and best of luck (unless it hurts LSU)

You're missing the point, man. Celebrate all you want about Brandon Browner being released from the Saints, the dude is still a millionaire. Anthony Jennings is an LSU student younger than I am and definitely isn't a millionaire and to celebrate him leaving a football team he's given his all is fricking pathetic. Get a life. This kid's FRESHMAN season was 2013. Give yourself some perspective and pretend you went to college and see what year that'd put you at.

I'm in grad school there, my first thought after hearing he would transfer. Arbuckle was a beast, AJ would probably benefit from a true spread (Air Raid).

Any word on where he is being allowed to go? I would assume that he would be blocked from any SEC school, but other than he should be good to go. AJ would be a perfect fit in Willie Fritz's offense at Toolame.

Anthony was always a class act, even during the challenges of his Soph starting season. He will be a success in life...4everLSU
