Why have certain people in society gotten to the point where involving the police to settle things isn't acceptable .. You're the fricking quaterback of lsu and I won't believe for one second that you couldn't get Miles or someone else involved to make this happen within the police department.. Miles would be wise to hold a symposium on how to call the fricking police.. FTR.. I'm no fan of the police in general but I'm not kicking in doors risking arrest and my life over this type of shite.. No rational person does IMO

People should know better than taking the law into their own hands, but peruse this site and you will see many who brag about how they would handle these type situations on their own.

Hey dumbass, you know OJ was arrested on felony kidnapping and armed robbery charges right?

I'm already tired of it...in the case of one of these guys, he was a multiple offender and should have been gone long ago.......this is unacceptable.....

Will this simplify Les' decision on naming the starting QB?

Already been reported that he bought them from "Doodaman". And no shite it was obvious that they were stolen... A Mac Book for like $150 from a dude with the nickname "Doodaman"
But he also gave back the MacBook a few days ago.
And there are still ways to handle this like a civilized person. You don't break into this kids apartment like they did and intimidate / threaten the roommate who had no idea wtf was going on. The guy they were looking for was out of town.

Seems like a little patience would have served them well.
What was it... on June ?10? the kid whom they eventually stole back the goodies from (who was out of town) was arrested for possession of stolen property.
On June 12th, presumably because they now know this kid Anderson has Jennings stuff from the June 10 arrest, they pay the first visit.
On June ?14th? the come back. Arrested on the 17th.
No guarantee the cops were gonna come through, especially BRPD, but damn they have the possessor identified, the nickname of the likely thief, and they couldn't wait more than two days to "take the law into their own hands"? For fuks sake, there's much better ways to do this even if you don't want involve the cops.
Hell, since the Anderson kid had been arrested already for having Jennings stuff just quietly publicize that. He'll feel the heat from other kids around campus.

You want to see the players walk through campus completely nude??

Or why not call your head coach and ask him to help you out?
Jennings: Hey coach.. These guys stole my shite.. can you help me out because I'm super pissed and feeling like I need to handle this myself because I ain't getting nowhere with the police.
Les: I'll take care of it and dont you dare do something stupid

LSU should have a seminar on how to behave in all these situations if you want to be apart of this team. It really is time to cut all the shite and help them understand a bigger picture. I know it's young men and there's so much immaturity but no harm in trying. Someone stole your stuff and you have a lead? Come to the coach.
This arrest crap is becoming a trend. Of course other teams deal with it, but doesn't mean we have to. We've gone years without it consecutively before. How hard is it to not get arrested

Actually, what you said seems like it would be natural for them. Especially since up to then they had done the right things.
And what if Jennings computer/pad had LSU football info on it (any info, not just the secret playbook). Gives Miles or the school justification for getting involved.

No they were not you idiot! It's yet to be determined whether Bain & Thomas are charged with felonies - a sentence that is punishable with or without hard labor can be either a felony or a misdemeanor.
Shut the Frak up about shite you obviously do know anything about Jackass!

I know all schools have issues with kids doing stupid stuff, but doesn't seem like its always our high profile players?
Its quite strange.

I wonder how many inspection sticker tickets were written between BRPD being alerted and Jennings kicking the door in.

Quit freaking out everyone. They charge everyone the arrest with a fricking felony nowadays. This will be plead down to a misdemeanor. By the way, buying a stolen laptop is also going to be a felony. This will all wash out fortunately or unfortunately depending on your point of view.

Les Miles is recruiting thugs just like Urban did at Florida.
