You’re not looking that’s why because I’ve done it since his first class at LSU.

The debate over whether McMahon has talent or not is pointless. That’s part of his job description. He’s responsible for the play on the court, period.

Atrocious 1st year in a very tough situation

Mediocre 2nd year

It’s time for a good team in year 3. Make the tournament or get damn close to it.

I haven’t fully written him off yet, but it’s time for the results to come.

Reading comprehension. I said if you don’t see that you’re a hater. And everything I mentioned did happen. The people that come on here constantly and spew negativity are haters. No one said he had a top 10 class. No one said he will win the SEC. Good get or nice get are just what they are. The desire for McMahon to fail is strong with the Wade cult where I prefer to want him to succeed . Anyone who doesn’t is a hater. Anyone who doesn’t isn’t an LSU fan. . It’s as simple as that. If Oats signed Sears the same idiots would be pointing to that as what a good coach does. It. Is. Pathetic. And it’s getting old.

What difference does that make? I tried to compliment the Carter signing but was told by your lot I was only doing it so that I could blame McMahon if we didn’t win. When we signed the second guard, the HS kid Lying Lester launched into a false story that I’d be very upset because we signed him which is the exact opposite of what he’s saying now. This is what you people do, flip flop, move goalposts and flat out lie to push narratives.

It’s also made up so you might wanna see a professional about that. When you start to believe your own lies you’ve got a real problem in your hands.

Yeah, i think you were okay with him back then, in 2023, but i think you are too far gone now to credit anything he does

I'm by no means sold on McMahon, but didn't that cracka from Tennessee transfer from some minor school? He worked out fine.

Well there isn’t alot to credit. Worst win% in 60 years, below .500, alltime worst losing streak in program history, tied for the worst conf record in program history, 14 games below .500 in league play, wasted 7 top 100 recruits, two 5*’s and an All-SEC player in first two seasons, both starting PGs have quit on him in his first two years. What am I supposed to credit him for? Honestly

I don’t give a crap what other people do. Some of the McMahon defenders do go overboard sometimes but only because they are sick and tired of the CONSTANT negativity from the Wade cult. This guy might be the next Mark Sears or he may be the next Justice Hill. No one knows for sure. NO ONE. But 43% from 3 is impressive no matter where you play. There is no reason to not support this team and this coach at this time. Period.

How? you listed three of the thousands of basketball transfers last year lol
and im actually pointing to evidence with Juice, you guys are crossing your fingers hoping..

Again, with the deflection. You only posted part of what I quoted which was

quote:

1) Mark Sears for Alabama came from Ohio
2) Latrell Wrightsell came from CS Fullerton
3) Nick Pringle came from community college and Wofford.

gee, great point... Has McMahon proven he can successfully plug in transfer and elevate their game?.. not yet.

You continually shift the argument. You originally dismissed the idea of UT-Martin transfer possibly being any good. Then someone listed examples that refuted that idea so you changed the argument to something you had not stated. The replied to me without including what I was calling a deflection.

On the matter of Hill, do you think he is the same quality player as Sears?

Just say a shite first year

Well their stories arent over and they are still here. So credit him for continuing to build. For putting some building blocks in place. Maybe they work, maybe they dont. He went from horrible to mid. Lets see if he can make the jump.

Stop it. Stop the constant Wade injections, I never bring him up. You bring him up then claim it’s because of me. Go to the first thread after Wade was fired and read my post, stop the straw man shite. I can’t speak for every person but again go look at my posts at the beginning of McMahon’s tenure, this bs that I hate him because of Wade is false. I was optimistic until I couldn’t be anymore. As far as for Sears, again I think he can play but once the season starts and I continue to say that while you guys all flip flop you’re gonna argue with me that he isn’t good. You don’t want the tiresome fights? Stop making false accusations and using the former coach as a shield and a weapon to deflect from the current situation. Do that and the discussions will be much more civil, I guarantee it.

Man I hope you’re right and my issue isn’t solely tied up in the results. My skepticism is based on the fact that we’re incredibly poor at the things that don’t require talent and that he’s trying to win doing the things he did at Murray which are outdated and not successful at this level.

Idk, I would say cook was a little bit better of an offensive threat. But he never really settled into a groove as a playmaker, so he kind of just made for himself until his suspension.
