Trolls will trolls. Best record in the sec the last three years, 1 sec title, 4 straight ncaa tourney appearances with a fifth coming this year. Getting high level recruits. Had us at number 12 in the nation before injuries happened. Dude is legit and we are so lucky to have him

LOL. It's not like these 5 stars have plans to stay around and develop 2-3 years. They come in, some contribute more than others, and they hit the road to take their talents to the NBA or Europe. HOWEVER Wade does it, I don't really care, but he is bringing in talent for sure. What are we doing with that talent? He has 1 NCAA trny win where he coached. I'm hoping he is going to prove me way wrong this year, but this team has a lot of question marks outside of injuries. But yeah, go ahead and bash that poster who honestly stated a valid question.

There are 64 MF teams that make the tourney each year. He is bringing in amazing talent no matter how he is doing it. I commend him for that. With that talent, which he is responsible for, he obviously should be in the top 64 teams. But, you guys get giddy over a fkn SEC record, and a brief appearance in the NCAA trny. Y'all are highly content with that. What a generation we are living in...participation trophies at its best. Clearly, you weren't around for all the deep runs from the 80's until about 10-12 years ago. Basketball at LSU didn't start with Will Wade, and he certainly hasn't come close to the success of some of the former coaches here, yet, and that's a fact. He has time, and I hope he goes on to many many NCAA Trny wins and maybe a natty here and there. He clearly brings in great talent. He needs help on the bench though. You will now spout off your normal bs about how great he is, trolls, low basketball iq fans, etc...but the facts are facts. He brings in great talent. He has a good record in the SEC the last 3 years. This, however, doesn't translate into success in March, which is what all good coaches are judged by. Now, spout off all your rhetoric about how clueless I am for actually throwing out facts. Maybe you and I have different expectations.

The funny thing with you is, you are obviously fairly young (let's hope) and you genuinely think you know more than others who have been around this for MANY more years than you. You'll get there one day kid, if you are lucky, and you'll look at the new generation some day and think how comical they are in thinking they know it all, when in fact they don't know shite. We truly live in a participation trophy generation. I blame the soft arse woke mothers for this. In our generation, we were made tough, believed second place was first loser, and accepted responsibility for our actions and didn't blame others for our shortcomings. Not you guys. Maybe you'll live long enough to actually understand what I'm saying.

Saw where Wade got commitment from #4 center in 2022 class. So is that 2 five star players so far? And there are those who want to fire this guy?

Clearly Will Wade has improved the LSU program and knocking on the door to bring this team to upper levels of NCAA basketball. There is no firing talk at all in regard to Will Wade with our AD and where it matters.

This basketball team Wade has assembled may be my favorite since he got here. Athletic and plays harder than any team he has had. LSU will make a appearance the next two years in a final 4.

My observation of fans on this site

Some seem to actually strongly dislike maybe due to the famous taped call or distaste for the pro Wade followers

Some seem to want to worship and celebrate prematurely which I have no problem with, the guy brings energy and excitement to the gym floor.

I think the majority of fans are very happy with the progress with LSU basketball and ready to follow the program as it steadily improves.

Look old timer. I'm sure you have some learned wisdom but be carful who you call soft. I'm not sure how, if at all, your incoherent ramblings pertained to my post.

Seems like maybe you have a problem with me and not what I said. Look I've got to go check on some homes I'm building in St Cloud and Kissimmee and then I have 35 head of brangus cattle to water in Haines City. But I'm sure there's a sonic between here and St Augustine where you can explain to me all my short comings and insult my mother again.

Be careful who you insult old man.

Uh I've "been around' since '77 so I know what I speak of. Nowhere have I worshipped anyone. If this entire team , including Miller was intact and healthy your post would sound even more ridiculous. What happened to Kentucky when they lost their starting PG. THEY LOST. Now they are healthy and one of the hottest teams in the country. LSU will be back there soon. If you don't understand that you don't understand basketball. Reid, while not ready for SEC play, will be a very good player with time. Not all players develop their first year. Skylar Mays ring a bell or were you not here for that? This team when healthy can beat anyone but Pinson is the one player they absolutely need on the court. Clean up the TO's and hit your fouls shots and stop the stupid fouls and they probably when a couple of the ones they lost. Wade will grow with the job but if you can't se what he is BUILDING then you aren't paying attention.

It's funny that you being up those numbers

Want to guess how many years it had been before Wade since we won a NCAA tournament game?

We've won more game than anyone in the sec over the past 5 years (Auburn may have passed us)

It's dumbasses like you that think this is the same game from 40 years ago so it's like flipping a switch. Wade has built a consistent winner here.

Why don't you tell us all about how dominant Penns football program or USC's baseball program was back in your day while the rest of us live in the real world.

We've finished in the Top 3 of the conference the last 3 years and made the S16 as well.

Some of you are insufferable

Yeah no kidding. And looking at what the make up of this team can be next year, we have legit championship potential. The roster next year is shaping up to be unfrickingreal. People just don’t realize this just yet.

Clearly you dont understand where the program is right now is the best spot the program has been in since the last of the GOOD Dale Brown years. You understand that's 2-2.5 decades basically of being not even close to where we're at right now? It's all about program culture and consistency and that's where Wade has gotten us back to in the last 4 seasons. He's put a tournament level team on the floor this year and the last 3 seasons. We've had 2 tournaments under him so far, so calm the hell down. A very early S16 run winning the SEC after being 2-16 2 seasons prior under a different coach is a hell of a turnaround.

It doesnt need to be "FINAL FOUR OR BUST" expectations a couple tournaments into his career here for fks sake. Enjoy the fact where we're at right now we're competing very well and can definitely make a run at any point in the near future.

Some of you just cant enjoy anything with shi**ing on it.

He came in on the heels of the program bottoming out in the final season of the Jones era and by season two had won the SEC with the best LSU conference record since 1981. He's had the program in position to reach the NCAAT every year since his 2nd season at LSU. Something the program had not done in nearly 3 decades.

Has he reached the top of the NCAA mountain? No. But you are either willfully disingenuous or just wholly ignorant if you can't see that he has the LSU program in the best shape it has been in in 40 years.

The polarizing opinions about Wade are beyond stupid. The guy in far from infallible. But he is also probably the best coach the program has had 3 decades.

Next year could be an all timer. The roster is freaking loaded

The guards will be veteran & the talented freshmen can come with with very little pressure to carry the team.

If Wade can add another portal guy that can stretch the floor watch out
