Announced attendance of 94k
81 million....

It has to be one of the lowest attended games for a home opener in school history...at least in terms of % of stadium filled.
I wasn’t going to go (I told you as much the other day), but changed my mind. I didn’t want to miss my first home opener in the last 5 decades. However, I truly don’t plan on going to anymore games going forward. Additionally, I won’t be selling my tickets. This administration needs to see as many seats as possible. This is on them as much as it is on CEO. I have watched some God awful LSU teams through the years. Losing and playing poorly, while sucking big time, was not a reason for me to support LSU. This administration is alienating people. Perhaps without realizing it, but they are. I mentioned that I saw the school president give a commencement indoors without his mask. That same guy is now requiring the peasants to yield to his whims, all (farcically) in the name of public health. It is an open air stadium. Even UCLA wasn’t as restrictive.
To me, that speaks volumes.
I predict 30k tops if is raining next Saturday.
CEO will be the fall guy (and deservedly so), but he is not the sole architect of the apathy.
Just my .02.

PAID attendance is not attendance at the game. Fuzzy stuff, LSU

Why lie about attendance. We all know 94K didn’t attend the game.
They’re counting the 30k turned away due to Covid issues.

The entrance requirements are so ridiculously asinine, I don't blame anyone that sits out in protest.
I can still catch COVID from a vaccinated person at the game.
I could also be a person with natural antibodies, which would protect me more than the vaccine.
For the record, they did not check me for vax card or negative test when I entered the stadium...I thought that was interesting.

They didn’t scan half my tickets and didn’t get asked for vaccine proof. It was like the wild west at the gate when we went through.

It's what the regime's propagandists do when the truth is damning.

Good grief. It is SEC and now NCAA policy to announce attendance as tickets paid for. Been that way for several years. It's not fake news or woke or anything like that.
I gave O credit for 2018 and 2019 and he gets "credit" for 2020 and this season as well.

They “checked” mine. I actually went to the doc in the box on Saturday morning just to go. I won’t do that again.

It was empty by the end.
We sat south stadium club and I would guess it was 65k at best, both uppers were way less than half full, the only full section was the student section.

I cruised by the guy like I didn’t hear him despite my negative test. I only stopped and showed him because my wife was lagging behind.

No one was turned away I can assure u…u could have thrown a piece of loose leaf with a crayon written note on it on the table and got in.

By the way, I thought it was a good crowd under the circumstances and the student section was packed.

Salesmanship. 94K paid, but several on here estimated 60K actual. Actually the paid number is what goes in the statistics I believe.
This. And people say don’t go…LSU already had 94k paid which is all they cared about.
But I was there. I’d said approximately 70k in actual attendance. Uppers were maybe 1/3 full. Lots of openings in the west sideline.
Students were the only bright spot. Chanted F Joe Biden. Band played Neck.

Haven’t seen the student section that packed for a shite game like McNeese in a long time. Half the student body has never had LSU football before and it showed
They were only there to chant "frick Joe Biden."
