Cool stats but with the invention of the transfer portal you can’t really compare coaches 1st seasons unless both were hired post portal. JJ was able to plug and play from the portal as he wished for the most part.

I think most people that are sticking up for Johnson think he is a good coach and are just wanting to give him more than one year before we say he can’t do it.

The fact that CPM was able to finish above .500 overall in 2007, was a miracle in itself. When it’s all said and done, CPM will go down as a better coach than JJ.

Anybody who thinks Johnson should be canned after a year is a flaming idiot and not worthy of an opinion, just saying some of y’all act like this dude is sure fire and so incredible. I’ll wait and see.
