If you notice, it's a lot of basketball-only fans who are hellbent on deflecting the struggles of Wade onto Mainieri.

It happens every year, let them melt, then they’ll find something else to melt about tomorrow

My favorite rant baseball meme ever is everyone using "It's still early" in June of 2018.

But look who the L was to. Look at Nicholls’ previous 3 games...

Holy shite! It’s not about the lose! It’s about the lack of effort attitude. CPM attitude toward midweek games is a cancer

Except it's February of 2020.

Will Wade got you all kinds of fricked up, huh?

I came for the score, but stayed for the melt, lol.
Fire Mainieri, Dunn, the AD, that professor nobody likes, and that mascot that didn't hit for average. And when our new hitting coach gets back from vacation, fire him too!

LSU losing to Nicholls is absolutely unacceptable. No excuse for this.

It’s not just an L in February. It’s reminiscent of what we have become very familiar with. Add the basic fundamental miscues and yes, there are major concerns. It’s painful to watch.

Selfishly, I want to watch baseball again - softball is great and I’m glad it’s been there but it’s still no substitute.

So watch it? What’s stopping you? Being too pathetic to understand it’s February 19 and we’re 5 games into the season? Jesus some of y’all are sad.

Yeah no shame in losing to Nicholls, after all they did give Southern Illinois-Edwardsville all they wanted.

Losing a midweek game to Nicholls isn't the end of the world.

However, losing a midweek game to Nicholls in the first week of the season may be meaningful.

No. The Colonels' pitchers had thw best night of their careers, they were hitting spots all game long.

Remember when LSU baseball used to start the season 11-0, 12-0, 14-0?
I do.

So don't accept it. Freak out and throw a fit.

It's freakin baseball. Great teams lose sometimes. Bad teams win sometimes. PM needs these games to see what his young guys can do (we have a lot) and how they handle live game situations.
