Everyone thinks were going to lose. Had to close the prediction thread because it was pissing me off. I have hope and this isnt your typical juggernaut bama.

So long as Brad Davis is still coaching the OL we don’t stand a chance. Will be a repeat of last year.

We have more important things going on at our school than a meaningless game on Saturday.

Why do LSU fans repeat this silliness? Particularly since Bryant, the home field advantage in the series is relatively flipped.
Going back to 1982, Bear's last season of coaching, LSU and Alabama have played 44 times. LSU is a respectable 17-26-1 during that span, particularly as LSU accounted for 5 of Saban's 29 losses at Bama (5 of 18 conference losses).
43 years ago - today - LSU beat Bama for the first time in 12 years, in Birmingham. Bama was in the middle of an impressive winning streak in Tiger Stadium that they would stretch out to 15 games, beginning in 1971 (14-7 - another defensive slugfest between Bear and Mac) and ending in 2000 (think about that - in his first season, Saban LOST to UAB and beat the real Bama in Tiger Stadium, something no LSU head coach had done since Mac in 1970).
However, after that win in 1982, LSU would rack up 3 more (meaning 4 in a row) at Bama, including a 19-18 win in Tuscaloosa in 1988. Curley Hallman won a game in Tuscaloosa in 1993, Dinardo in 1997, after breaking their streak in TS, Saban won both games in Tuscaloosa (although he suffered one of the worst beatings of the series in Tiger Stadium in 2002) in 2001 and 2003. Miles would win 2 out of his first 3 at Tuscaloosa, including the infamous "Game of the Century" in 2011.
At that point after the "Game of the Century" - LSU had gone 10 - 4 @ Bama, 7-4 @ Tuscaloosa.
They've evened that up during the last winning streak (1/9/2012 through the 2018 game)- winning 8 straight, 3 straight @ Tuscaloosa), but we broke the streak in 2019 @ Tuscaloosa and won 1 game in Tiger Stadium since. So, now it sits, even going 1-5 @ Tuscaloosa since 2011, LSU is 11-9 @ Bama since 1982, 8-9 @ Tuscaloosa.
I doubt any team has a comparable record of success against them in Birmingham/Tuscaloosa over the same span, possibly excepting Auburn (and I didn't look it up).

I guess BAMA will cover the point spread or do we find out if the team really despised Brian Kelly.
This board is marginally unhinged (I may have overstepped by including the word marginally). Nothing going on here is a reflection of what to expect from the team, nor an indicator of how you should bet.

A somber dark cloud has descended on Tiger Stadium. Cheer up TigerNation happier days will return soon.

We would be better off to forfeit this weekend.
Amazing that I would think this way, but I am ok with that. All the pre-season hype, the opening win over Clemson, then we saw the cracks in the foundation grow more and more each week. Certainly one of the most disappointing LSU football seasons I have ever seen.
While I don't see any chance of us winning, I at least hope the players give a great effort and we see some decent play calling.

The team prob wont play any worse.
BK wasnt even coaching.
Sloan was a frickin bum.
Nuss, who knows... respectfully, whats there to yap about? We either show up or we roll over.

We'll probably play them pretty close because of it too.
