This only works when you are a reasonable adult. When you’re not, you get a lot of examples in the form of temper tantrum threads.

The Jay Johnson glazers are as bad as Brian Kelly fans. It’s pathetic,

It’s easy to be a good college baseball team at LSU. It’s to be expected.

If you are even average it’s a colossal f up and this team isn’t even that. It’s awful

Agreed here this team is bad and shouldn’t happen. Is it easy to win two championships here as well?

Personally I enjoy making fun of the people who make excuses for every little thing.

The team's performance this season is completely inexcusable with the talent, returning coaches, and the head coach himself being so high on them prior to the season. There's clearly something very wrong.

It takes alot of luck to win a title. But what should be expected is LA Dodgers like results every year where you are always in the top 5 or 6. Always in the mix. That is a baseline level of expectations and if you can’t meet that standard every year given the resources invested, the tradition.,,then it’s a failure.

This is 3/5 years that has been a failure under JJ.

So instead of winning 2 national championships in 4 years, what if I told you that we could be a national seed 6 years in a row, only making it to Omaha 3 of those years and winning zero championships in that span.

Does that sound better?

It is more consistent, I guess.

Going to the CWS should be expected every year. Whether you win or not is the “that’s just baseball” part of the equation.

Bad baseball should not be tolerated. Getting to the CWS but not winning is something to tolerate.

No one is expecting a title every season. They are expecting to be good every year

Jay Johnson in no way compares to Brian arse Kelly.
Jay works his arse off for this team. Kelly laid back and thought the program could run itself.

Yall don’t deserve Jay Johnson. One day he will be gone, for whatever reason. You can cheer for a little while until you realize his replacement will be a huge downgrade.

We’re just in different wavelengths on what makes success. You sound like you’d rather host every year and come up short (aka Arkansas) than maybe have a slightly worse year, maybe a little less consistency, but win big every other year (aka LSU). We’re just going to have to disagree, winning two of the last three championships was not only luck which you are portraying. This isn’t the Bertman era of college baseball that we are dealing with anymore. A lot more colleges care than back then.

If only you'd had such standards with MBB.
