Personally? Honestly never. I’m not defending the constant Debbie downers.
I’m attacking the sunshine pumpers who constantly disregard any criticism, who move the goal posts as things descend to rationalize why they were always right, and then when there is nothing left, they just do ad hominems as if only the delusional are the true fans. The fact they were blind to reality doesn’t matter. They were FANS.
As if recognizing the problem early means nothing. The fact they cared early, means nothing.
And the fact you even agave to ask the question is saying something.
Over the past 10 years, baseball and football have had a lot of crappy seasons. (With good ones interspersed, which the sunshine pumpers have been quick to use to rationalize their positions. )
Doesn’t change the majority of seasons in both baseball and football in that time frame have been meh.
It’s not even a coach loyalty thing. Folks have been making the same arguments for Jay as they did for Paul.

And I don’t have to read each of your posts to know you don’t know crap about college baseball or how to run a major program. JJ is the best coach out there and the best we have had since Skip. And guess what if he doesn’t win it all next season either he is still the best option. Name how many active head coaches in college baseball that have 2 Natty’s much less in the first 4 years they have been there, I’ll wait…..

I’m not saying to fire CJJ by no means.
I seriously believe that he hit zeros in the portal. The leaders (Brown, Milam, Curiel) I assume that’s the leaders. They are not very vocal, won as youngsters, and are not very motivated or motivating.
Also CJJ has never reached this type of fan dissatisfaction and can’t believe how right or wrong it is that the memory of Tiger Nation is so short.
Throw in the talk of NIL, the hiring of 2 big names(Wade & Kiffin) who have literally not won shite yet, and the frustration of this years team’s play has compounded his misery.
Im not saying slow the negativity, well I am in a way but you or some of you may get exactly what you want and CJJ bolts.
In reality there is NO way he gets fired NO way, but if things keep getting worse and the grumblings he hears is enough he may walk.
He is the Best college baseball Coach in the Country arguably and would have no problem getting a job. We are the Standard in College Baseball, we would have no problem finding another Coach. LSU recruits itself but CJJ is brought it back from Great to Elite in 4 years.
