as a witness. WILL WADE is not under investigation. Why is this so hard for people to understand? Seriously. He literally cannot talk about it. LITERALLY.

This is why asking him to come in and talk, when they knew he couldn’t is so stupid. Also, they’ve known about this since BEFORE THE SEASON. Why let him coach allllll season with this knowledge? Nothing has changed. No new info has come out since then. This whole thing reeks of incompetence by LSU admin.

Are you aware of the wire taps?

Of him making an offer? Proof it was an illegal offer?

Playing time? Starting spot?

Again, gimme the link where he did something illegal or against NCAA regulations

Oh that's rich. When people bare the facts about the football coach you start crying.

Even better can someone provide a link proving he was denied legal representation in this meeting?

Is the theory that if you say this enough it might actually be true?

What would happen if Wade and his representation were to meet with Alleva and company and simply pleade the Fifth to every question?

Wade fricked himself - not Alleva.

So why didn't Alleva suspend him last year?

His response should be entertaining.

I'll preface this by saying I am against the suspension. He should in the hotel with the team right now finishing up celebrating and getting started on prep for MSU.

That being said, this is wrong. There's no gag order on the case. He can speak to anyone about anything. He's free to meet with Aleava, King, the NCAA, his mother, and anyone else to discuss the comments that he is on tape making, which is what everyone wants to discuss. LSU isn't interested in the actual case itself.

That being said, for his own good Wade is in the right to keep shut right now until this case blows over not just to protect him from a potential perjury trap, but to protect anyone in this meeting such as Aleava or King from being dragged in to verify a potential testimony that Wade may (or may not) have to give.

Gray...just wanted to let you know I gladly downvoted everyone of your pathetic posts.
See....this is what being a dickhead on the rants entitles you to.

If I gave a flying frick about such childish crap as up or down arrows, I would consider it an honor to be down voted by you. The greater insult would be if for just a brief second you agreed with me. If news of that ever got out, I'd be devastated.

Nobody with half a brain has a conversation on the phone and uses dialogue of that nature.

In today’s society with technology and the ongoing controversy in NCAA basketball do you discuss recruiting a player and mention great offers and taking care of family and get more than rookie minimum.

If he is innocent and this was a misunderstanding, I question WW judgement. You don’t say those things on a phone.

Unless of course you’re participating with the FBI, a possibility none of you simpletons seem to be willing to consider.

I've thought about this. But it seems to me if that were the case then Wade's phone would have been tapped, not Dawkins. Could be wrong, IDK. FBI works in mysterious ways.

Smart getting cleared made me think this is a more plausible possibility.

From the NCAA BB rule book:
Responsibility to cooperate
As a term of employment, school presidents and athletics staff must commit contractually to full cooperation in the investigations and infractions process. Full cooperation means reporting violations in a timely manner; sharing all knowledge and documents requested in a timely manner; providing access to all electronic devices, social media and other technology; and maintaining confidentiality. The chair of the Division I Committee on Infractions or the Independent Resolution Panel can impose immediate penalties when schools or individuals do not cooperate (including loss of revenue or postseason opportunities). These bodies can consider lack of cooperation as admission of a violation.

“ Wade refuses to meet with his BOSS”

Wade’s boss made a demand of him of that he wasn’t going to able to fulfill considering the fact he is under notice of a federal subpoena.

Pearl refused to meet with his boss as well and he’s coaching in the Sweet 16. Things are not as cut and dry as some like to pretend.
