Alleva has been radio silent for awhile now

The last we heard from Alleva was his off the cuff remarks to a reporter about Will Wade and his desire to speak to him. Since then, any comments to stories in the media have come from Associate AD Robert Munson.

This is exactly how he should have been the whole f'ng time. ZERO need to put the quotes out that he did. Just made the whole clown show worse.

His comments after the round one win were totally inappropriate. His practically being booed out of his own gym at the Vandy game probably has soured him on live comments.

I was saying this the other day. Delly's SI article and the hackjob that Yahoo did had comment from Munson and not Alleva, which is unusual because Alleva can't ever seem to shut his fricking mouth.

Someone above him has realized he's unable to act professionally at this point, and has muzzled him, probably prior to terminating him.
Sports ultimately are a consumer product, and you don't sell that product by antagonizing your customers, which is what he's done.

But, you know why he did this. Trying to cover that azz, but it just made him out to be the POS he is. He had that calculated out, but it just made him look small-minded as usual. Hes a slime ball and anyone still holding out hope that Joe is a decent human being and will put LSU first are kidding themselves.

Joe was scorched with emails and phone after his last comments. As big of POS Williams is, he wasn’t happy to receive the emails and calls wanting his head.
I truly believe Alleva will step down sometime early summer but that still leaves us with Fking. You’d think if Alleva goes, king would certainly go but that’s not the case unfortunately

My best guess is that Alleva was given a dose of his own medicine: He's been suspended and his fate unsure. The difference is his bosses are smart enough to not go make public comments about how they are disciplining him.
