No shot that they could be a #2 although that would be a dream scenario for LSU.
Chances are Tulane will make it in as the third CUSA team. IF they were to win three straight Friday-Sunday (including UCF and Rice), there is a small chance they could be a soft two-seed since the field is so indistinguishable this year after the top 16-20. Proof: People were projecting Texas as a two-seed just a couple of days ago. Now they could miss tourney altogether.

Only Kendall Rogers, a Texas native and married to a UT grad, was doing that.
Everyone else had Texas as a three and one of the last teams in prior to the Big 12 tournament. They are out now.

All of the above. Worse than normal hitting (which is never great to begin with), three starting pitchers out for year with injuries or kicked off team, and bad fielding (which is unusual). It wouldn't surprise me if a coach's head will roll (not Garrido...maybe Harmon).
Regardless, if it's not Texas, would like to see LSU do well. Always enjoy watching them play baseball.

They were a bubble team before going 2 & Q. Will be very surprised if they get a bid. All they have going for them is finishing 3rd in the B12.

What they have going for them is the fact that the Big 12 commissioner is the Chairman of the Selection Committee.
I think they get a bid solely because of that.
