quote:

All but four LSU offensive linemen are in quarantine after they either tested positive for the novel coronavirus or were determined to have high-risk exposure, multiple sources told The Advocate on Wednesday.

quote:

Players who test positive for the coronavirus must isolate for at least 10 days after their positive test, according to Southeastern Conference COVID-19 protocols. Their symptoms must disappear for at least 24 hours before they can return to practice. Individuals with high-risk exposure must quarantine for 14 days.

Incredibly misleading title.

All but four have to quarantine, which mean they either have it or were exposed to it. In all likelihood only a couple have it and the rest are quarantining as a precaution

There is likely 1 with and the rest say sat in a film room with him.

This must be the reason none of the OL have been in any of the practice footage. I suspect they have already been in quarantine for a while.

Under these ridiculous requirements, the season will come down to what team has the deepest bench and the best players out of their fraternity houses. There isn't going to be enough bodies to play just 10 games!!! I will take it, as opposed to NOT playing.

Assuming we have football this year, the champions will be those really good teams who best manage covid-19 risks.

LSU training/health staff have been ahead of curve. Players have to 100% cooperate though. Playing in a bubble-like environment would be best. Cant stop normal students from going out, but athletes are mostly more strict.

You figure with this, the 30 that were quarantined a while back, and with players that have admitted to having it we are pretty damn close to having herd immunity?

So they are not sick. Why does it make sense to quarantine healthy people?

No. It will come down to who was smart enough, or lucky enough, to infect all of the key players ahead of the season.

Is this a magic show? Weird word choice.
