Wake Forest looks like the best team we've played.
We're getting their #2 starter tonight and he looks pretty tough.
Gonna be a tall task tonight for our Tigers, but it's totally doable. Our lineup is as good as there is in the country, and a couple of clutch hits, or a big 3 run homer, and we can win this game.
And.... good pitching by us, of course.

Wake has faced one line up all season that forced them to compete with every batter. It was Miami and they lost.
In the regular season they dodged Miami and Virginia.
Their pitchers are good, but let’s see what happens when they get punched in the mouth.

They played and swept Miami in the regular season.
They also swept Clemson, at Clemson. (who was a higher seed than Miami)
Give them credit. They are damn good.

And Like most games without Skenes on the mound, lsu just has to score a bunch of runs to protect Floyd. I hope they see the LHP well enough to do that.

The key to victory is keeping Wake off the bases when Floyd gives up tghe long ball. LSU can survive a couple of solo shots but not three runs at a time.

And UCF. Clemson also lost a series to USC, Duke, and GT.
Clemson got hot late but the meat of their schedule was earlier on. Not a great example to use as a tough opponent for Wake

If not for the rain delay Stanford would’ve beaten them. Why’s everyone acting like this team is the 98 Yankees? I like our chances.

Wake puts up gaudy numbers when they get rolling, they dont get rolling they are just another good team.
21-5, 23-4 that shite gets peoples attention and is nice to talk about. Our 14-0 v UK was nice to, but at the end of the day it is just a win.

They also can’t broadcast a game worth a frick. Only good thing about that round rock failure was this board stopping it’s deep throating of the Aggie leader of d1.
