He just hit his second tonight, 4th overall in AAA

Four bombs in 5 Triple-A games. The second one tonight was to straight away center.

If very soon is September or next year, then, yes. Small sample size.

he is forcing the issue the past couple months. not so sure about waiting into September anymore, guess it depends on July/August Astros play...
LINK (Straight Away Center Field HR Powerful Swing)
Bregs has supposedly developed 20 pounds more muscle/HR power + still has that short compact swing proven in AA over past year.

Small sample size? He's hit at each level this year. He'll be up this month at this pace
Posted on 7/5/16 at 12:00 pm to Lester Earl
in 133 minor league games, Bregman has hit .302, with 22 home runs, 91 RBIs, 31 2Bs, 6 3Bs, 18 SB, a .394 OBP, .903 OPS, and has only 62 Ks in 529 ABs. And he seems to get better each time he's promoted to a new level. The Astros are in a wild card race right now. If they think Bregman is the difference in them making a run and not making a run, he will be called up. People need to get past overthinking the financials of bringing him up this year as opposed to next. The ultimate goal is for the Astros to win now. If they believe Bregman will be instrumental in achieving that goal, this year, they will not let him continue to play in the minor leagues because it might save them a few bucks down the road.

You are trying way too hard dude.
If Bregman is hitting around .310 after 25 games at Fresno and the Astros are still in the WC race, he will get called up. Expect Marwin or Valbuena to be packaged in a trade.
Bregman will become the everyday 3B (if there is such a thing with AJ's lineups.

I know that breaks the hearts of the LSU baseball homers on this board, but it just shows your ignorance when it comes to Major League Baseball.
So all LSU fans are ignorant when it comes to the MLB...because we are LSU fans?

it's funny because people said the same types of things of why Aaron Nola wouldn't be called up as soon as he was. "The Phillies could gain an extra year of team control by keeping Nola down until mid-April 2016, but considering how advanced he already is, it’s all but impossible to imagine a scenario in which he remains healthy and they hold him down for another nine months without stunting his development."......"Whether patience is a virtue or not, excessive waiting is a waste of time and the last thing the organization needs to do is waste the time of their best pitching prospect."
Bregman is one of the top prospects in minor league baseball. You don't just stunt his development for another year so you can control him for another year. That is, unless you don't see him as a long term player within your organization, which you might as well just trade him in that scenario
And this isn't about being an LSU fan. This is just basic common sense. Sure there may be financial incentives you can rationalize to keep him in the minors, but there are many more reasons to rationalize calling up him later this year.

And comparing the Correa situation to bregs is idiotic. 5 year age gap from when they started in the minors.

This is what makes the Trea Turner situation so incredibly strange. Just put the guy in the majors already.

danny espinosa has been playing really well lately. I think they are playing Turner in CF now so he can have an easier path

You know absolutely nothing dude, Nothing at all.
You don't know what goes on in the Astros front office so what you think can be way off. When Correa was called up to AAA he spent maybe a few weeks there before he was called up, Bregman could be the exact same way.
Another scenario you aren't aware of. AJ Reed is off to a slow start, so what could happen is he gets sent back down to AAA and they call up Bregman.
Now your thinking "Where does he play" well an option, Move Valbuena to 1st, which makes Bregman the everyday 3B. That way you still have Gattis DH when Castro Catches.
There are plenty of scenarios that can happen for Bregman to be called up very soon. If the Astros believe he can make a direct impact on their team then they will call him up, no matter what they would have to pay.
