Sorry but this has the potential to have big time negative consequences. For years, we’ve been able to leave an ice chest with beer unit outside the left field bleachers (going all the way back to the old box) and slip in a beer or a drink between innings. Now that LSU is charging $20+ to drink in the stadium, no way they allow that to continue

I think I’m just gonna stick to leaving my ice chest outside the gates in LF and in between innings go out there and chug a beer or two and come back in. A lot cheaper

Yeah I will probably just stick with this, though I will be curious and might check it out at some point especially if they have TVs.

Being able to eventually sit in your seat with a beer > leaving to go to an ice chest to chug beer

This is what today’s news is leading to

I drank before the game Saturday outside the PMAC. You obviously haven't been in a while.

There was a tent set up on the 3rd baseline next to the hitting cages.

The 'hitting cages' are on the first baseline....

Couldn't you go down to the club lounge and get a beer or drink? I'm sure the tents will have video as well.

Don’t they sell beer before basketball games outside the stadium? Thought I saw it Saturday.

I was really hoping it would be similar to auburn. But i think we dont have the space they do on the concourse.
They have tents set up down each line with a little fence “separating” it from the stadium and they sell beer there. And you can see the gane very well. This method is a step in the right direction but doesnt sound good enough for enjoying the experience. Ill continue bringing my own liquor until they shape it up

You pay $20 for 2 beers at home?

I don't drink, two huffs of glue gets me right where I want to be for the game.

So we've determined for a fact the tents won't have closed circuit TVs?

Sounds kinda lame but definitely a step in the right direction. Can't wait until the day they sell beer and I can drink from my seat. That will be the day

If the they have some fans or portable AC with Tv during an April or May Day game, damn right I’m going in there to cool off and have a few beers
