I just don't understand the concept of going to a game and not watching the game because the desire to consume alcohol is so great.
It's a long game. Lots of people head to their cars to keep their buzz going. It's no different than the parents who bring kids. Are you going to force them to stay in their seats the whole game? What if they get hungry or thirsty? At times, it's quicker to grab a drink at the car than wait in line. You can still hear the game on the radio or even watchESPN so you don't miss anything.

Why are you against people finding a way to experience both if that's what they enjoy?

the classic LSU move is going to be when they limit pass-outs to stop people from going to their ice chest outside the stadium.....

The beer you consume at your home isn't free. It's just been previously paid for.

You pay $20 for 2 beers at home?

Yeah...you won't be able to see shite while in the tent (maybe on a tv), but I think a lot of people will take advantage of it.

by baseball standards someone could have a beer and get back to their seats before the half inning. Definitely wont be like football where you could miss a good amount of the game.

Again, to each his own....I just don't get why people need a buzz to watch a baseball game.

This is LSU's way of continually pushing the envelope with the SEC to allow alcohol sales throughout the stadiums.

Who says they need one? What’s wrong with wanting one? That’s like asking why would anyone ever want a buzz.

This will absolutely happen and I'm pretty surprised it hasn't already.

Everyone in left field leaves an ice chest outside the gate and leaves and reenters when a drink is needed...

I can buy this argument.

Again, while I personally don't care to consume alcohol at the game, I think LSU should have every right to do so as long as they can keep the crowd under control.

If ULL, Tulane, etc. can pull this off, there is no reason why an SEC school shouldn't also be able to.

Hooray Beer! A couple of questions though. When they say you get two beers for 20 is that like some sort of limit? Also does anybody know if the tents will have tvs?

There was a beer stand outside the PMAC on Saturday. Right underneath the ramps.

From The OP:

The wristband is $20 and includes two beverages. Additional beverages can be purchased inside the premium area starting at $6.

I think Rice has also been doing this for years but its along their left field fence so you could see the game. idk where you could make that happen for LSU and be able to see the field easily.
