Going forward after the House Lawsuit is settled & roster numbers go up, players are paid per schedule, Title IX is settled, etc., I wonder if schools put $ in ficilities or players. Didn't I read something about members of the baseball Coach's Committee use to give $ to TAF, but now they have to send checks to the Tradition Fund?
What I am saying is that the above suggested improvements are all good idea's, but unless you can ID private funding like the new PMAC, we may have to get use to the Box as is going forward.

The expensive individual pods on the third base side are atrocious

Box has a cheap arse feel to it with all the exposed silver handrails and sheet metal that runs around the bleachers walkways. Just a crappy cheap temporary feel to it.
It always has. It looks like LSU wanted to build the largest stadium (in terms of attendance) and cut every corner possible while doing so. The fact that the base-line sections are still those rinky-dink aluminum bleachers 16 years later is ridiculous. Hell, it took until this year to make the outfield wall not quite as much like a little league field. Even the new field-seating looks cheap. Like they just poured a slab of concrete and stuck office chairs on it.

Chair backs down the lines AND left field (those bleachers are ridiculously small)
It’s probably no possible but I wish there was less foul territory behind him plate and down the lines. Put the fans back on top of the field like it used to be
The Box is home to the greatest fans on earth. A group world renowned for their parties and hospitality yet there’s nowhere to do those things in the stadium. The Box NEEDS a party deck/ berm.
Given that they put highway barriers and called them new bullpens and seating, I wouldn’t hold my breath on new anything

1. Move all horizontal walkways to behind the rows which would allow space to move all seats to as close to the field as possible. If you have to, make the rows more steep to get people closer to the field.
They obviously don't care about the foul territory, as we saw this year with the awful shite they added on the sides next to it.
2. Seat backs for every seat.
3. Paint everything that is silver the classic baseball field green.
Doing this would make the stadium look so much better.

An acrylic ceiling about 100 feet above the playing surface would be really cool. It would be like watching the game and one of those glass bottom boats they have in Florida.
Any ball that hits the acrylic ceiling, you can use track man data to determine if it would’ve been a home run or a pop-up or fly out. And then adjust accordingly.

Look at how much better this angle is for watching baseball
Totally agree. Such a difference watching major league games

Terf field. Looks clean as hell. Dont have to worry about rain delays or cancelations anymore, and we have home advantage due to the speed our guys can run and no more bad hops on the infeild due to poorly dragged dirt
This is a BIG NEGATIVE!!! TURF fields looks like CRAP. Baseball is meant to be played on natural grass and dirt, none of that sissy junk texas and others have

Chairbacks and shade. The race for the most fans in a stadium doesn't do anything but make everything more expensive. Football has a cap of 102 and can barely fill it on a good day. Invest that money in comfort, not a seating number.

All of the seats, even in the outfield should be covered, and the whole stadium should be walkable and connected. No bleachers, but part of the outfield should have an open terrace. Either a berm or SRO would be fine.
That's pretty much my dream. I don't care if they put suites around the whole damned thing to pay for it.

Add another year to the intimidator
Put in all seat backs down the lines

Went and saw the LSU series in 2024 at Baum where they swept us and it got rowdy in the Hog Pen in LF. Would love to see something like that incorporated where people could grill out, boil crawfish, etc. in the outfield. Not sure we have the space though.

1. Any seat not in the outfield needs to be chair backed.
2. Extend the awning to cover all seats down first and 3rd base

There is plenty of space behind the left field wall to do something like that.

I would settle for a new intimidator sign - 2025 national champs

With the way LSU is always looking to get big $ from fans, I agree with #1. Extend the covered area & suites all the way down to each foul pole. Make it all chair backs, more shade, and a lot more suites to bring in the big money.
Anything other than what they have now in the outfield would work. High school aluminum bleachers need to go…looks beyond cheap. Get creative and make it something unique. Got to be able to do better than what they threw together with those field seats

My biggest gripe is the plain aluminum everything! Paint it, get some of those bleacher caps in different colors, but banners along the walkways….anything but leave it looking high school

#2 most of all. No more bleacher seats.
