Yeah, that's fine and I understand. But as I've stated in the past I really don't think LSU needs a spy on Hurts. LSU's athletes are NFL bound athletes and they are fast like NFL players are supposed to be. They will do a good job at containing Hurts and keeping him in front of them. They frustrated the hell out of Johnny Manziel by doing the same. I think they will do the same to Hurts.

They have not seen man to man press coverage like ours! Not worried about their pass game as much as their run game and QB runs.

Chark and Dural are talented, but I believe Ridley is more so. We can agree to disagree.

Let's bookmark. I'm happy to wager $50 that Ridley is drafted higher than either Chark or Dural. We can use a different, mutually-agreeable metric to determine "talent" if draft position is insufficient for you. We will have to wait until at least Spring of 2018 to settle this (since Ridley is only a sophomore), but I am willing to wait to collect my $50.

Also, none of this is a knock on Dural or Chark. I'm only arguing that you're wrong, and in fact, Ridley is more talented.

That's cool! But on the bet part, you might wanna wait until everyone is in the NFL because everyone knows Bama players are drafted much higher than LSU players. The fact is they are used while at Alabama and not wasted like they are at LSU, but that will change now that Les is gone. Also, Alabama players are drafted higher because of Lord Saban's prestige.

but I'll wager with you then because I think Chark and Dural will have much more of an impact on the NFL teams that they are on than the NFL team that Ridley will play for. Ridley is a good lil player for what Bama uses him for, but he doesn't run routes as good as Cooper(he is still learning that) and he is not a burner.

As I've stated, I think we let LF7 be the QB spy. Hurts isn't running past him.

Hopefully Aranda is ready for that making a tackle an eligible receiver trick Bama used fora huge play two years ago. The Patriots took note and used the same play in the playoffs a month later against the Ravens. Chavis didn't know what to freakin do.

It was an illegal formation which the refs refused to call, one of their many gifts to BAMA over the last five minutes of the game and overtime. See teh pass interference aon Dural in overtime. See teh unsportsmanlike call against Alexander. See the failure to call for booth review on completed pass right before the tying field goal.

What would you expect Chavis to do when they lined up illegally ?

If we can bookmark and wait until after Ridley's first 2 years in the league (which is quasi ridiculous, but I'm willing to do it), I will bet you $50 that:

1. Ridley is drafted higher than Chark or Dural.

AND

2. In his first 2 years, Ridley has more catches in the NFL than either Chark or Dural in their respective first 2 seasons. Obviously that means comparing Ridley vs Chark and Ricley vs Dural, NOT Ridley vs Chark + Dural. Injuries are simply tough luck for either side and the bet holds, but the 2 year window here is to mitigate the effect of that possibility. Also, for each of the 3, it's what would be 2 full seasons after they are drafted / signed. In other words, being on the practice squad or out of football for a year, counts towards the timeframe.

If both 1 AND 2 happen, I win. If anything else happens, you win. That work?

Adams. He effectively shut down Engram last week.

Yes. But Howard is a different animal. Engram is a 6'3" wide receiver build type ( 220 ...maybe), but Howard is 6'6" 242 so he presents some more challenges. Adams is very good and he hits hard, but I'm thinking you might want and try to neutralize this guy more at the line of scrimmage.

He will line up in a blocking position instead of split and then try and release for a route. If I am a LB at the line, I want to line up on the outside shoulder and I want to be up close to give him a good smash so he does not get out on his route or trip up his timing. You want to force him inside and keep him in traffic.

I have no problem with that. You should be halfway home as I stated in my other post with Ridley being drafted higher because he is being more productive in Alabama's offense, but I expect to win when number 2 kicks in. I fully expect Dural and Chark to have better NFL careers. Dural will be coming out after this season and both Ridley and Chark the following season.

Not as big a factor as one would think. Performances at the combine and Pro Day and Senior Bowl week if selected holds more weight. There are more variables such as system, quality of QB play, offense effectiveness etc. Stats bear some consideration but farther down on the list.

Noway Howard is fast for a TE Riley can't keep up with him or cover him in the intermediate area Howard runs very fluid routes like a WR. Riley operates well in about a 10x10 yard box. Adams did a great job shutting down Ingram he should be on Howard he's too important to Alabamans passing attack we need an ace on him. As far as spying hurts we can mix it up with safeties lbs and nickle guys but containing him will include our ends and olbs keeping him inside also. I just don't think you can take OJ for granted or he'll slice you up. Lol

Tre White should shadow Ridley, Adams over Howard and Donte/KT2 over Stewart.

Also Duke or Beckwith shadowing Hurts. Dual Threat QBs can be a problem but I trust our LBs to play well. This game will be won at the LOS...

The running of Hurts is a major concern. You could have someone shadow him but that leaves one of the threats open.

Ridley and others are not 100%, we should be able to limit their production.

LSU 28 Bama 21.

Adams and White or Thomas can take turns. LSU is DBU. Should be no problem to cover these guys. As good as these 3 Bama receivers are they would have trouble cracking LSU's receiving corps

uhhhh stop drinking the kool-aid dude. Ridley would be our best receiver and Stewart is Dwayne Bowe part 2.
