It’s hard to say what he’s worse at but his personnel decisions and rotations are alltime pitiful.

If we can hold on and win this we’ll probably get to see poochie, mcmath and mcstuffin rush the court.
This made me laugh way to much.

I feel like I’m beating a dead horse with how much I bitch about McMahons rotations and lineups. I’ve always disliked them.

Hunter Dean gives energy, his head is always on a swivel on defense, he screens and rolls really well. He’s been open on a lot of really easy dump offs under the basket and they just don’t hit him.

Baker is a black hole on offense and a hologram on defense. Hunter is a team player on both ends. Give him the start.

I wonder if it will be like that night long ago where LSU scored a total of 10 points in the first half vs Ole Miss, then scored like 44 in the second to win. Brady hit the postgame press conference grand standing like LSU just reached the Final Four!

It was laughably absurd

You never know who’s gonna start or play and sometimes players will go from playing all game to not even getting in the next game. He has no idea what he’s doing.

I agree. Questionable decisions. Carlos getting barely any minutes against Kansas St, now Tyrell not playing against Alabama State.

I can only imagine how difficult it is mentally for players to not know their place on the team from a game to game basis. Not to mention how difficult it is to build chemistry and flow on offense and defense with lineups constantly changing.

Bingo, you’ll never build anything this way and players aren’t gonna stay. Not playing Ward alone shows the guy doesn’t belong coaching at this level.

Agreed.

Can't wait until the usual suspects come in and say, we won the game. Everything is great - and tell us that we didn't want to win so we could complain.

Oh the three stooges will be dunking all over the place tmrw. Of course they didn’t watch the game, too busy obsessing over the posters who watched the Mcneese game instead.

Ward was playing bad defense. He'll be fine, but something had to give between Ward, Wright, and Williams.

Williams saved the game. He got hot and then Hannibal and Dean provided some juice.
But make no mistake, bama st ain't very good.
Baker is soft and is going to get abused in the SEC.
This team desperately needs Stewart to show up.
Ward can shoot but plays 0 D.
I just see alot of offensive struggles ahead.

Best takeaway from tonight’s game…at least we aren’t Louisville. They are getting bent over, at home, by 3-7 Arkansas St to fall to 4-6 on the season.

There’s only about 3 dozen people who are LSU basketball die-hards. There are 100X that amount in Louisville. I don’t know the UL message board, but I’d imagine the longing for Rick Pitino dwarfs anything we see on here involving Wade.

They made maybe the worst hire in the last 30 years of CBB. He’s their Johnny Jones. But at least Jones had moderate success at LSU

I wouldn’t call that reasonable but there’s logic in what you’re saying. The problem is he doesn’t reward the kid when he plays well and others on the team play like donkeys but don’t get treated like Ward does. He’s your best player and best chance to build on but I wouldn’t be surprised if he left.
