Alabama's band is one of the worst in the SEC.

At Bryant-Denny last November (LSU-bama) the bama band only played after bama scored points and at no other time after the game started. More piped-in music there and the least band playing I have ever heard anywhere.

They probably made this decision in the spring when Alleva was telling everyone that opposing bands would not be allowed to march at halftime. Bama probably opened up the extra seats pretty quickly.
This. Maybe he has Three Doors Down coming back for an encore. Nothing says college football like some washed one-hit wonder, 20 years on, trying to get back into the limelight.

You're just pissed because nobody wanted to watch your crappy band do precision marching drills while playing military music.

I thought they said at the beginning of the year that no team was to bring their full band this season.

No, they originally said no visiting bands would march at halftime, but that was changed. JSU and USM both brought their full bands.

A million dollars these days just doesn't buy what it used to.

More like 1/4 of a million dollar band for this one.

I like Bamas arrangement of phantom of the opera.

And the majorettes are nice to look at.

Go ahead and down vote me.

I upvoted you just to spite you.

And because you're not wrong, but mostly to spite you.

I don't like the song they play from Les Miserbles that promotes slavery.

I LOVE that song. It is intimidating and an amazing song to play. REAL MUSIC. I danced for Tiger Band for years. I received a music degree from LSU. I wish our band played more pieces like this. Ominous. Minacing. Intimidating. Cool music.

AND... I seriously don't think that this song "promotes" slavery. I doubt people have rushed out to be a slave or suddenly desired to own a slave after hearing this piece from "Les Miserables'".
When hearing it I don't think anyone ever said..."Gee, I like this slavery idea. Let's give it a try."

However, if we had bama's recent success, we would be loving our band playing this.

GREAT SONG! i hate bama... love that piece of music.
