EVENT: Alabama @ LSU - Away *PEP Band*
TIME:
LOCATION: Tiger Stadium - Baton Rouge, LA

Seems like (in recent memory) they usually have brought their full band to BR. Whenever I hear complaints about our full band not traveling enough, I also hear a comparison/remark that Bama's band goes everywhere. Apparently not. Maybe they really aren't taking this game as seriously, or maybe they, too, are facing budget problems. One thing is know is I can't stand hearing that stupid fight song every time they score, and so hopefully now it will only be 1/3 the volume--IF Aranda let's them score at all.

They pipe in more music than a minor league Women's softball team. Of course they ain't brining their full band.

I don't like the song they play from Les Miserbles that promotes slavery.

So what you thinking, about 3/4 of a Million Dollar Band?

Well it says pep band, which I'm guessing is only around 100 members. That's about how many we take normally. Their full band is 400 members, so I'd expect 1/4.

Apparently Alabama band has more $ than LSU band.

I know going to road games it's always a plus when full band tags along

I like Bamas arrangement of phantom of the opera.

And the majorettes are nice to look at.

Go ahead and down vote me.

Their 100 member pep band is probably louder than our full band. I can barely hear the GBFTL from my seats.

it really is a shame. that's generally why i try to only sit in the NEZ or as close to the NEZ on either sideline. we need to get more bands kids at this school ASAP.

Their band sucks. it is legitimately garbage, and consistently shitty over the past few years.

ETA: didnt we boo them pretty hard last time they played in btr in 2014?

This used to be my favorite knock on Bryant-Denny, until we unfortunately joined them with the same amount of piped in music.

Maybe make more room for their fans?

They probably made this decision in the spring when Alleva was telling everyone that opposing bands would not be allowed to march at halftime. Bama probably opened up the extra seats pretty quickly.

This is a solid point, but I still prefer our Golden Girls.
