I get it. But man, you seem unstable. We all want to do better in men's basketball. But come on dude, it isn't life or death.

Then show me a home game with less than 200 fans in attendance. And not the last 5min but the first half.

They do every single time. Even scored 100+ on CWW's teams once Oats got there. I hate Nate Oats.

I'm for whatever it takes to get rid of McMahon.

From a literal sense, no, the stadium is not "empty". However, from a figurative and business perspective it's trending that way quickly.

Last season, McMahon's best season, LSU reached the "postseason" (NIT) and played the opening round at home. The paid attendance was 2,200 people...in a 13k seat arena.

This year LSU played Florida St. at home. The paid attendance was appx. 8,300. I promise you, there weren't that many asses in the seats. Maybe 5,500 or so. You could buy tickets on the secondary market for a little as $2.00. The paid attendance for SEC games this year is about 8,500. Being at both, I can tell you the actual crowd was more in the 4,500 - 5,500 range. If LSU continues to lose both the paid and actual attendance numbers will further decrease.

If we cut through all of the "amateur" sports/student-athlete bullshite you know LSU basketball (all major conf. basketball) is a what should be a multi-million dollar business. The "customers" of that business are the fans. If the number of customers continues to decrease the amount of revenue will decrease significantly too. So yes, the fans can have a big influence on personnel moves. Just like any big business. If the customers aren't supporting the company and the revenues are deceasing the shareholders/BOD will often look for a new CEO to try to increase revenue.

That was only one game where Alabama simply couldn't miss from 3. Plus, LSU's defense was never all that good under Wade until his final season. I that season LSU went 1-1 vs. Alabama. Losing by 3 on the road and winning by 3 in OT at home. In both games LSU held Alabama to under 73 points (in regulation).

In McMahon's four games vs. Alabama they have averaged nearly 101 ppg vs. LSU with an average margin of victory of 29 ppg.

LSU's defense has been decent this year. So while 115 is probably a bit much to expect, Alabama reaching 100 at home isn't.

Who cares at this point in time? Losing by 10 is just as embarrassing as losing by 50... Gen. Pear's team only lost by 8 in Coleman Arena.

I think we all agree LSU will lose Saturday night. They need a good proper a@@thwacking to finally get it through SW's head that his best efforts failed.

Seems pretty likely

Doubtful. McMahon will likely try and keep the pace of play down. I’d guess 90’s maybe just over 100

So what? You act like this is some kind of statement about LSU. They scored 100+ against #25 Illinois, #12 OK, #8 KY and a good Vandy. You people really need to get a life.

Wait, you think McMahon has the ability to dictate pace to Bama? I guess it’s not totally impossible but I don’t think we’d like those odds.

Only by accident. He wants to "play fast", it just that his team is so bad in the halfcourt that they inadvertently waste most of the shot clock.

Given the rise they’ve been on under Oats, wtf are they still doing playing in that shitbox of an arena ?

They have plans for a new arena, but Covid construction costs have added an additional 100 million to the project and they can’t afford it.

Honestly love to roast BR but LSU is lucky here being in a large enough city to partner with the city for an economic project like a new arena. Baton Rouge can at least justify the tourism of major concerts coming to the new arena.

Speaking of, fat Scott needs to release renderings asap

No one has ever scored more than 115 in an SEC game
