Guess you haven't noticed all the folks from all over Louisiana that are bandwagon LSU fans. Hell, most can't even SPELL LSU A&M. Everyone loves a winner, it just so happens they picked a team LSU can't beat on a regular basis. Then to make matter worse, LSU fires the only coach who did beat ALA once in awhile.

As a grad of both UL and LSU, I can honestly say that this isn't the case. Most UL students are LSU fans first, then UL when they are feeling patriotic.
As for Baton Rouge, most of the Bama fans I know are Southern grads.

Now you have hit on something there. I personally know a lot of Southern fans that root for Alabama against LSU. A whole of of them.

These people really bother y’all more than they should. You should just laugh at them because you automatically know the type of person they are by being an Alabama “fan” in La. it’s no different than Yankees Red Sox Pats Steelers Packers Lakers Heat etc fans.
The type of person I’m referring to is a person who went to tech school, works construction, blue collar worker, went to a smaller La college like La Tech or ULL, and they root for Alabama because they are a dynasty and they beat the team that all of their family and friends root for in their home state. They just want to be defiant. It’s really not too much to get mad about. They are just LSU haters more than actual bama lovers

I think one thing I'm most thankful for is that I can honestly say I don't know of one single person like this. I am not saying they aren't here because I've seen way too much Bama shite on people who I know didn't go to college to think they all moved here. I'm just thankful to know my "social scene" is somewhat above them. I also don't know anyone who had a finger in their booty saturday, without begging for it first...

Here's good example. I have an ex-brother in law who probably couldn't find Tuscaloosa on a map but he wears an Alabama class ring. Dude went in the Army right out of high school and has never attended one college class, but he wears a class ring with a red A on the stone. It's not even funny.

I move that we forever FORBID fanatical fandom to any person who cannot prove that he, she or zee, attended no less than ONE FULL semester at said school before such person is permitted fanatical fandom of said school.
I FURTHER MOVE THAT we all take a step back and realize that we are indeed talking about: 1) amateur sports teams; 2) these teams represent SCHOOLS; 3) some of are taking this

Weird thing is I can't find anymore Florida or USC lifelong fans down here. They use to be everywhere...
