I think that Benge has some good outings and some bad outings. It seems like when he is used multiple times in quick succession, like this Tuesday and Thursday or one of the series earlier in the year, he is off of his game.

Cowan can pitch tomorrow if necessary. I think thats what will happen if things get tight. And then you have Smicht for saturday.
Rizy/Ware are the other guys. As usual with Jay’s teams, we are thin at bullpen.
Edit: Noot can pitch without walking guys as well.

Jay needs to sit him down and have a tough talk. Look kid I tried to give you a chance in a stress free situation. Get some momentum going for future games. I thought there’s no way you can frick this up. But you did your best to prove me wrong.

To be fair, The ball that he called a strike and the Alabama first base coach got ejected. Two pitches before that he threw a strike and it was called a ball and that would’ve been the end of the inning and we would’ve never seen the ejection.
