Again, why is a freshman playing left?

When u have sec, regionals, super regionals, world series experienced players on the bench? But instead I'm gonna look pretty and throw a freshman out there in front of all that and dive at a ball he should never have dived at

1) beau isn’t some defensive ace out in left.
2) Cabrera isn’t just “some freshman”. The guy was a top 5 round draft prospect before he made it known that he wanted to play in college. The kids got talent.

Ouch! Your correction is wrong. "Dove" and "dived" are both acceptable for the past tense. The participle is always "have dived".

Cabrera is the third best OF on our squad, behind Watson and Duplantis. NOT starting Cabrera in LF would be a bad move, imo.
