Just a quick comment without reading all the thread…
Agree with a lot, but I think Mike Jones is a huge liability..or at least this game. Guy played 85% of snaps but had ONLY 2 tackles. He came on late in the season, but upon my rewatch and some other buddies’ rewatch, pretty insane his lack of physicality. Weeks was a wrecking ball, he should play more.
IMO, Jones Jr probably does everything perfect. First to arrive, last to leave, knows every assignment, every coverage, etc etc etc. However he lacks that just raw instinct to lay wood. Penn wasn’t as bad as I thought after I watched again. His linebacker partner was extremely soft. We know what Baskerville gives, but I think Weeks makes this team instantly better

I'm honestly surprised Kole Taylor is still on this team. He hasn't really developed much since his freshman year
Hate to be critical, but if the shoe fits wear it.

I think the OP needs either a hobby or a girlfriend. Way too much time on his hands to watch tape 2-3 times and break it down.

He’s contributed more to this site than the rest of us who only watched once.
So go back to your OT10

I'm glad to see Georgia and Alabama looked lost and out of position all game when they played. It's nice to know that all the other SEC West teams looked as bad or worse than LSU. Good to see that our competition had players half-assing it on the field, and others constantly out of position. Because like it or not, we are worse than: Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Mississippi State; without mentioning getting our skulls dragged in by Alabama.
Yea because we should compare our current situation with either of those 2. Did either of those clean shop and start over? Go look at Bama during Saban’s first year. Some of you don’t want to accept just how bad our program was last two years.

It was actually a nice break from the gf with a lunch outing in the middle. Helps that you can skip 10 seconds at a time forward and reverse and pause at anytime. Only takes about an hour to do one half. Wasn’t charting it though.

On the flip side it was apparent that LSU was working with a limited playbook on offense with a lack of chemistry between the QB and receivers
You needed to further your analysis here
Denbrock has known since he got here that Daniels would be his starter. Denbrock has said that the installation of the playbook in the spring was stopped at about 30%, because 'they' werent getting it. Translation: 'they' had to have been Daniels, because no one else mattered in this scheme
So here we are in week 1 and the playbook is still limited. Why? Because Daniels simply cannot read defenses, especially pre-snap
No amount of coaching will fix that. That is who he was at ASU. And hes now starting games in his 4th year. If his 1st read isnt open, he bails. This wont just fix itself over time. Its a chink in our armor because he is fixated on having a running QB. Its obvious Denbrock doesnt know how to scheme to the skillset of his players

Saying this alone- means we need to Fire, and I mean give Kelly the Bum Rush out the door right-the-frick-now.
We paid a premium price to get premium results. I did not see any of that on the field Sunday night. Making excuses has become a part of LSU's Culture, and I am sick of it.
I'm sick of the dumb arse fans who are all emotion an no brains.
The HC inherited a dumpster fire...
It takes time

Why wouldn’t they have the full playbook? Are they retarded? Didn’t the All American WR and other receivers work extensively with future All American JD?
What are we getting for our 10M/yr?
WTF?!

The most off putting thing I saw all night was a HC who looked completely lost and overwhelmed. If there has ever been a “brook trout” glazed eyes stare, he possessed it. It reminded me of CLM in some of host worst moments. I understand we’re rebuilding, we have position challenges, blah, blah, blah.
But the man in charge did absolutely nothing to make me think he’s not in over his head. Along with all the corrections this team needs to make, CBK better start at least projecting that he’s in command.

The passing concepts however were puzzling at times with lots of slow developing plays to the boundaries that FSU smothered.
Denbrock better scrap the straight drop backs with this o-line

It’s my opinion that Nuss could take the reins the rest of the year if he is given a chance to shine.
You could see that from the sky cam? Lol You were doing good until your liberal talking point.

I want to disagree with you but the continued presence of Kole Taylor instead of one of the WR’s speaks to this.

LSU is a talented team with very little chemistry that doesn’t have its full playbook installed on either side of the ball.
It's inexcusable in today's CFB that you don't have your offense installed. Modern offenses install very quickly. Leach can do it in a couple of weeks.
Like I've said for a long time, Denbrock has Cam Cameron vibes all over him. It's not smart or +EV to have that complicated of an offense, especially if he will just run vanilla until everyone has everything down perfectly.
