Someone email this to the administration.

Email the AD and include a link to this thread. Let's see if we can get this done.

I sent the link to this thread in a message to Mike VI facebook page. Not sure if it will work but it was worth a shot. Great idea buddy

Would be nice to let fans put flowers and well wishes on the cage and then roll it around the stadium and park it by the opposing team tunnel.
That's a damn good idea. Especially since its pretty clear that he will pass during the season. I think this press conference was to prepare people for when they have to put him down ( which I think will be pretty soon ) and also let everyone know there will be another Mike.

Same here. The proposal by the OP would be a great memorial, I hope it happens. (Although I hope Mike lives forever and it never has to happen)

I would agree with the cage and I think it would be neat if while it drove around the stadium it was a total moment of silence

Should let us tape any pics we have with my to the cage also.

This is the response i got back from whoever monitors the Mike VI FB page
"When the cancer diagnosis was announced, people left cards and gifts at the habitat."
Not sure what that has to do with the idea of bringing his cage on the field if or when he passes

Hopefully T-boy is lurking today and can make this happen

Email Dr Baker directly?

No logical reason @ all that the OP should have a single downvote

Great idea. It's your idea, send off an email to old Joe Alleva himself. Phone and tell them as well.

That would be awesome. Great idea. Hopefully someone can actually make this happen.

I like the idea - sort of a "Missing Tiger" formation.

Nomination for thread of the year - seriously.
How do we petition for this?
Good idea Rogue!

I'm tempted to create an alter just so I can give another upvote.

Allow the next Mike The Tiger to roam free in Tiger Stadium during the games.

What an awesome motivation for a game. At the same time being a somber and great gesture to honor our fallen Mike.

What about sending Mike to a taxidermist and having him in the mobile cage?
