He’s huge on sports and been very supportive of Greek life from my understanding. Great breath of fresh air because the last 10 years was spent trying to kill all fun

I think the University is in good hands. Not exactly my cup of tea yesterday, but it is a new day. He was having fun, he was celebrating, he was excited, I will take that every day. Nice seeing a leader as joyful as the student body.

It is rare in todays age for one to get out of their corner. I never knew much about him, but heard all the woke nonsense. Seems he is making all the right moves down there.

He’s the president of LSU. I missed his introduction at the PMAC event so I had to ask my wife who that old rapper was who was at the podium.
Times sure have changed and I don’t see how anyone can say for the better.

He still sucks just because he says things you like about sports does not take away from his progressive agenda behind the scenes. Hell they just hired a progressive idiot to lead the law school.

It’s obviously a great thing but was there ever a question that he wasn’t? I thought he was pro athletics since he’s been here. However, if you’re referring to King Alexander then yes, this is a nice change.

It was revealed in a news interview that Tate and Mulky are close due to a shared background. President Tate started out as a high school coach in Dallas coaching girls track and basketball.

Yes. I’m very pleasantly surprised. When he was hired I didn’t think it would turn out like this for athletics. They seem to have gotten this hire correct.

Pres Tate is super supportive of LSU’s ROTC Corps Cadets too. He stated that right now our Corps Cadets are rated in the Top 10, and he wanted them to be #1 (A&M #1 right now, just for sheer volume), and he would support them in any way.

This guy wants to win and it doesn’t matter what sport, or LSU affiliated organization

Aside from the critical race theory shite…

Tate seems to be a very, very positive thing for lsu. Dude is killing it on the athletic trail

Tate HAS to stay away from all the Woke Racial BS or he'll just continue to alienate and piss off all the Old School Big Money Donors.

You don't bite the hand that feeds you.

I could've done without all that 5 elements of RapCrap BS that he spewed out at the WBB NC celebration.

It's good to have a University President that's fully supportive of LSU Football and Athletics though....

Has he done any of this since he has been here?

Yeah trying to be relatable to the players on the team, one of whom is a professional rapper, is just an awful look.
