After further analysis, I now realize y'all are going to win the Outback Bowl...

Please excuse the length of this, but as I've been watching the Hawks prepare for the Tigers these past couple weeks, it finally dawned on me that we have no legitimate chance of winning. Take for example our most recent practice pics from yesterday. Just not encouraging at all and I'm going to go through them for you to show why I've had my change of heart...

1. These first two show that there are several players who evidently have discipline issues and are being sent outside to practice in the cold, rather than in our nice new indoor facility. Unfortunately you'll see some starters here along with our two backup QBs. These guys are supposed to be team leaders. You can just see the shame on their faces.




2. This next one is of our starting fullback. You'll notice he has weak wrists and actually didn't even get a scholarship to play football at Iowa. We'll just have to take what we can get.



3. This is who we call Cody Football. He's no Johnny Football. He's our third string QB, but he won't play against you guys 'cause if you can stop Johnny Football, you can stop Cody Football.



4. These are all of our QBs. The starter is the guy with two knee braces on. He was running the read-option earlier this year, but now after two torn ACLs will just have to sit in the shotgun against you guys because he really can't move, and if he tries to, he can't stop.



5. In this next picture, you'll see why you guys have such a distinct advantage. In order to accurately demonstrate who the Tiger players are, we've found the biggest and fastest player on our team to replicate what the Hawks will see on NYD. The guy in the yellow jersey (#11) is one of our bigger guys and a starting DE.



6. This next pic shows how Iowa will need two guys (in yellow) to block one LSU player (in black). Again, major mismatches all across the board.



7. Here we see our head coach and his son (OL coach) with very concerned looks on their faces...they know what's coming.



8. These next two pictures show a drill to give the Iowa players perspective for just how fast LSU is. In this drill, the Iowa player has to run sideways while the LSU guy runs full speed ahead. This will give an accurate depiction of what they can expect on the field.




9. Our punter is highlighted, because hey, punting is winning.



10. This last picture really cemented why we have no shot. Iowa has won with team chemistry and a love for each other. Here we see the whole team involved in a major brawl. If we can't play as one, we have no chance to beat you guys.



So as you can see, the evidence is overwhelming, and I'm not actually sure why the team is even making the trip. If you guys show up unmotivated and disinterested Iowa may be able to keep it within 3TDs if they're lucky. I hope Les has a heart and that the Tigers don't hurt too many of our boys. Thanks.
