Advocating for leaving the SEC to get back at them somehow

Is reeeee-tarded. Like fully 100% retard. As much as we are annoyed with the SEC right now it is still viewed as the premier conference for football and many other sports. No other conference comes close. Leaving the SEC would be a retard cutting off his own nose to spite his retarded face. Stop.

You think LSU should want to be in a conference that treats it like a second class citizen? Some things are more important than money. In the words of the GOAT Mel Gibson, “ You can take my TV revenue money, BUT YOU CANT TAKE MY FREEDOM!”

Sec is a mafia. Sankey is the Godfather. A hit to kill one of the 16 Lieutenants was publicized to the world in the AL lawsuit.

You leave the SEC because they aren’t finished their frickery yet. They will just get more and more creative trying to frick over the LSU program and Kiffin. It will take more energy and money to fight it off and it may actually lead to some L’s on the field with the SEC refs. The first time LSU or Kiffin DO frick up, the SEC will come down hard.

5 years from now there will be no conferences. Maybe 3 years

You'd rather be a poor king in the Big12 or ACC?
It's unlikely the Big10 would accept us, but we'd 100% be 2nd or 3rd class citizens there. Ohio Sate and Michigan are royalty and everyone is beneath them.

Agree with staying put right now. Long term, given what we've seen from the conference brass and other members, I'm not sure we would be wise to stay if we can carve out a better spot elsewhere.
Who knows what will happen. Maybe Stankey gets run off and relations improve with other members. Or, maybe the megaconference model could emerge in the next year or two if a handful of elite programs jump ship from different conferences.
But for now, we should stay put and give them as much shite as possible. Fully embrace black sheep / pirate status and just run with it. They made it clear that this inquiry is personal, unrelated to any actual violations that they can enforce, and most importantly, ongoing. So they are coming for us anyway. Might as will F with them for our own amusement.
We should eventually leave, but strategically.

In a few years the Conferences are going to no more. Sure right now being in the SEC is good for us but Conferences are going to go away in short order. I wouldn't get too attached to the SEC. Specifically for Football.

We just need to get Sankey out and Saban in

There will be consolidation in some way of the SEC and Big10
Leaving the SEC and being put out of the population who gets to join that consolidated cartel is a death sentence.

Big Ten if they raid ACC southern teams makes sense
Otherwise we have to right it out with SEC morons

That is not an athletic conference it is a cult. It has been for many years and if you didn't know it they showed it in the past few weeks.

Take the SEC out of Alabama and you probably fix 75% of the SEC problems…

Let's not forget the SEC was a has been through the 80s and 90s on the National scene. It was LSU and Florida that beat down the blue bloods that gave notice to the talent gap the SEC held over the other schools.
Add in a return of Saban to Bama, and lately Kirby at UGA to keep the SEC relevant with O and the 2019 team and Auburn in the mix.
Aside from LSU, Bama, UF, and UGA what has the rest of the conference done?

where are we going to go? To a more corrupt Big 10.
It's a controversial case with the 2022 class and the timing of the NCAA release of 5 for 5 and draft entrance. The NCAA screwed this up and created the mess for these players.
LSU didn't do anything wrong but the all the conferences enacted the same rules as soon as this thing happened with the TRO for the 2022 players.
Do you seriously think the Big 10 wouldn't have done the same thing?
They all voted the same week on the same rules about pros, so they would have the authority to do just what the SEC is doing.
LSU was walking close to the line and taking a risk and the SEC wanted to enforce their rules. I don't blame LSU at all but they knew the SEC wouldn't sit back. The Big10 would've done the same thing as well.
