That guy is more loyal to Alleva than LSU. I didn't click either, but this wouldn't surpise me as a parting shot.

And now ya’ll are being proved wrong, like the majority on here said, and now are grasping at straws even though everything happening is great for LSU
so you don't think the NCAA is investigating (or considering investigating) Wade/LSU basketball???

And please understand your answer doesn't mean you love or hate Wade -- it's only about an NCAA investigation.

Hang on to Wade. The NCAA is a toothless bogeymen. Penn State football covered for a coach that molested little boys. They took their medicine and were back in the Top 10 three years later.

they also fired their long-time coach and the university president resigned when all of this became known.

We are talking about standards of proof in an NCAA proceeding not whether it’s a civil or criminal action.

Most blue-chip+ bball players want one thing... immediate playing time guaranteed

The chump change from college boosters is meaningless, compared to the multi-millions they can get from a chance to showcase their talent immediately.

Time is money, and one-and-done is a whole lotta money.

And, "it's got to work" may mean, "i'll have to let Recruit A go somewhere else to guarantee Recruit B immediate playing time".

There are two head coaches that are engaged in systematic cheating at the highest level," Steve Haney, an attorney for Dawkins, said of Wade and Arizona's Sean Miller"

He will say any damn thing he can at this point. Fact is, there are coaches mentioned in the FBI indictment the NCAA will investigate first and foremost. The only reason Wade and Miller are getting any heat is because nothing else has been released to the media. It's still horseshite by the defense attorney. He is still trying to throw people off the facts of what his clients have done.

The full context — and what Wade meant by “what you need” — isn’t made explicit in the portion of the call read in court, though both defense attorneys and a federal prosecutor both indicated they believed Dawkins and Wade were referring to payments of some type.

Anything leaked to the press is inadmissible as evidence against Wade. The only way anything is admissible is if it is said in open court. And Wade still has the option of using the 5th. These journalist are going to keep this Will Wade shite going until they are given some one else, and that won't happen until the trials are over.

Did you write it? It feels an awful lot like self promotion since you're title isn't supported by this article. Just sayin

From the article.......
"Wade and LSU's men's basketball program is currently believed to be the subject of an NCAA investigation which could bring potential sanctions for the university, the coach or both."
Sounds like "possible trouble" to me. Just Sayin.

Sone members here have a really strange infatuation with wanting to see this program slide back into mediocrity. I wish the mods would anchor these threads until if/when new information comes out.

Great idea, only post and read stuff you agree with!!
BTW......this was an article in the Advocate TODAY.

yea, that’s exactly what it means.

This board is going through a whole lot of mental gymnastics to try to explain away Wade’s tape. But everyone knows what it is.

If the voice on the tape was the coach at Bama, Florida, UK, etc, this board would label him a cheater and demand he be immediately fired and all wins vacated.

But no, not for the guy wearing purple and gold.

That’s called hypocrisy.
