The Rant, who has never been around any of these people or attended any of these meetings, is better equipped to know who can do what, who has what relationship with who, etc.

Not having any firsthand knowledge is a huge advantage, as it prevents being distracted by things like knowing the skill sets of the people involved.

As an LSU grad, I'm not going to lie, I really dislike that our most public figure is Ed Orgeron. it looks terrible.

If we were to win every game next year, including the national championship, there are people on this rant who will still post negative things about the identities of our head coach and offensive coordinator. Their criticism will be couched in terms of "We should have won that game by 21 points; but, we only won by 14. If we had better head coach and offensive coordinator, . . . ." Or, "We'll never be able to get at Tom Brady-like QB as long as we have the head coach and OC we do."

They have to be miserable people. Every day, they've got to tell us how sorry the state LSU football is in, etc. I wonder if they have nothing else to think about over an entire 24 hour period.

It's coach speak. We like it because it is positive about the program and we think highly of Aranda.

Aranda isn't going to be the head coach at LSU. Why would he include language which absolves him of responsibility if he goes to the NFL? I would be happy if he did stay, but this isn't happening.

Oh yeah if aranda didn’t take any shite and had O meddling like with Canada trust me. O would be telling him the same thing. IM THE HEAD COACH ANS WE DO WHAT THE frick I WANNA DO IS THAT UNDERATOOD?? Lol.

Is it a personal attack if I think he’s a poor coach? Because most of these “attacks” seem based solely on that.

If you parse the words, it's not anything that contradicts what any of us has said about Orgeron. I'm sure O is a nice guy to work for if he likes you.

I also think Larry Coker's seems like a swell guy and I don't ever remember anyone having a bad word to say about his character or how he treated others. My criticism of O has been mostly limited to his ability to do his job. And there's the disconnect. People confuse criticism of the coach with criticism of the person.

Explain how calling Coach O all the derogatory names that he's been called..over & over & over again .... has anything to do with his coaching abilities? "moron; dumb arse; idiot; shrimp boat captain; clown; stupid; liar; cookie monster; org; etc etc Really? Read any of the many threads about Coach O & you will find a minimum of 3-4 of these names in them.
